Lionheart-Kate Bush

Advantages: Fierce, delicate, enchantin g.All that Kate Bush is loved and admired for encapsulated in this album
Disadvantages: You stare at the cover hating youself for not looking as sexy as she does!

Lionheart (1978) is really a beautiful addition the Kate Bush collection. The sexy album cover and lyrics like 'the more that I think of sex the better it gets' hints at the real bravery buried in this album. It's no suprise with songs like "Oh England My Lionheart", that this album did really well in England and not so well in the US. Kate Bush's vocals really do leap and dance around the music in this enchanting album. But dont be fooled by her butterfly like delicate voice, for lurking deep inside Kate is a woman who throws out lyrics heavy with ferocity like 'he's too busy hitting the vaseline' in the brilliant song WOW! This album really is amazing to listen to as its so intricate and detailed with surprises and points of interest lurking in every crevice of itself. You could really keep listening to it over and over ...

Review of Lionheart - Kate Bush

I hate Bush!

Advantages: Internet option could have been a good point.
Disadvantages: Gimmicky, poorly designed, heavy.

We purchased the Bush Internet Portable Television two years ago for the meagre sum of £99. We were only after a portable TV for the bedroom at the time but this was in the same price range as other models with the added feature of Internet access so as that rather irritating advert says, "Why pay the same for less?" The Bush Internet TV in packaged in a worryingly heavy box, dragging the television out of its annoying polystyrene carton you are confronted by what can only be described as a space age style portable television. In fact it looks like a deformed helmet for Neil Armstrong. This is re-enforced by its metallic silver, curved, bubble style. It is all very 1970's. Setting up the television appears to be easy. According to the step-by-step instructions simply plug in the hoop aerial, plug into the wall and use the remote to ...

Look At My Bush!

Advantages: Great price, clear screen, good sound
Disadvantages: A brand with not a great reputation or public knowledge

(24/10/06 - an update to this review has been attached to the end of the original, below.) I like Bush. Really, I do. No, not what your dirty little mind is telling you and not that weird guy who's apparently in charge of the planet, but Bush - you know, the electronics people. They make tellies and video players and DVD players and that type of thing, usually pretty damned cheaply, too. But that's not the only reason I like them - cheap Bush is handy to have, but it's not bad quality either. You tend to get the best of all worlds with Bush - a good price, reasonable reliability and some features to play with too. I have a 32" normal Bush TV on the television stand in the living room upstairs but, in advance of the World Cup earlier this year, I needed a large telly to go in the bar and I really wanted a large plasma or LCD ...
