Got this product as a christmas present back last year,
within 9 months of buying it two of the speakers have blown.

replaced the main two front speakers with two 750watt awia speakers and they run purrfic. now the system has more depth and volume.
the dvd player's 5.1 output is very quiet but we use the 2channel output (headphone socket in TV) and use the surround boost on the unit and it works brilliant.

i would recommend this and then change out the speakers.

only problem i have found is that my pet retreiver took a likeing to the remote for the speakers and i have forked out £25 for a replacement remote from AV UK LTD in Sutton Coldfield which i think is expensive when you can buy the system for around £60.
