I received this as a xmas present, and it is very good. I can fit 6 Divx films onto a blank DVR and the quality is an improvement over playing them on the PC.
Easy to use menus, and a nicely sized remote control.
There is an 5.1 output on the back, as well as outputs for RCA connectors. I have it connected up to a Yamaha home cinema audio, and the sound of explosions etc is deafening when theyu go off unexpectedly.

The only things I have thrown at it that it will not play, are mp4 films. I have to use a program like Acidrip to convert them into divx first. This takes about an hour for a movie, but then, after converting 6 of them, I can stick all six on one disc.
