This television is a widescreen TV, capable of broadcasting images in the 16:9 format that is common-place on digital broadcasts these days and whilst really early Bush widescreen TVs didn't do this automatically and those that did would flick annoyingly between full-screen 16:9 ratio and the old-fashioned 4:3 ratio that would leave large black lines at either side of the picture, this modern Bush does none of this. It will automatically size the picture to fit the screen depending on the broadcast being received, as much more expensive televisions do, and often you don't even notice that the resizing has happened. Advantages: Internet option could have been a good point.

...We purchased the Bush Internet Portable Television two years ago for the meagre sum of £99. We were only after a portable TV for the bedroom at the time but this was in the same price range as other models with the added feature of Internet access so as that rather irritating advert says, "Why pay the same for less?" The Bush Internet TV in packaged in a worryingly heavy box, dragging the television out of its annoying polystyrene carton you are confronted by what can only be described as a space age style portable television. In fact it looks like a deformed helmet for Neil Armstrong. This is re-enforced by its metallic silver, curved, bubble style. It is all very 1970's. Setting up the television appears to be easy. Advantages: good looking tv
Disadvantages: picture quality very poor

...had this tv bought as a xmas present, nice tv apart from picture keeps moving about ( when someone nods their head part of the head stays where it is for a second and then catches up.) this tv was bought from Argos . I reported this problem to them and they told me to get in touch with Bush. I did this and they sent me another tv .it had exactly the same problem , so i rang Bush and they sent me another , guess what it was the same , I rang Bush yet again and they told me to get in touch with Argos They told me that because i had dealt with Bush i had invalidated the guarantee . I told them that they told me to deal with Bush but they did not want to know and said i had been misinformed and couldn't do anything about it . I am now waiting for yet another from Bush but i am not very enthusiastic about it .... Read review
