Yet again, the time came for one of my beloved small kitchen appliances to take itself into retirement last week after five years loyal service. Now do not get me wrong the appliance served me well and in my opinion gave a good loyal service for a deep fat fryer. Time for another shopping venture, which I was not envying at this time of year, so I thought I would first chance my luck and browse through the countless sales leaflets I am always receiving from many mail order companies.

Advantages: Wheels on floor attachment make hoovering virtually effort free Disadvantages: Filters are not readily available
...We bought this vacuum cleaner because of the reasonable price (less than £70 at the time) and the wattage (1600) which was higher than our old one.
Now that we've had it for over a year, I'm not happy at all. The filter gets clogged up quite quickly which results in a massive loss of suction and of course this means that your carpet is not hoovered properly. I have a small child and I want to not have to worry about my hoover not doing its job effectively.
My main problem with this hoover is that the filter replacements are almost impossible to find. They're not sold by Argos.co.uk where I originally bought it and they're not sold by any of the popular retail shops that sell these sorts of things. I had to go to Bush directly who don't even have a proper website where you can check out all their hoovers and order replacement...
