Advantages: The quickness for making crushed ice Disadvantages: The noise
...My sister brought her Magic Bullet with her when we went to Atlantic City to visit the casinos. I was impressed with the speed it made crushed ice and the quickness it blended the cocktails. (It was her birthday).
I hadn't realised that they were available here. Plus I hadn't realised that 'Magic Bullet 'was the name of it, I had thought it was her nickname for it.
The only disadvantage was the loudness of the motor and the noise fo the crushing. I am sure the people in the next hotel room were not happy.
It was also very easy to clean in the hotel bathroom.
Since I make my pwn pasta sauces this should be a dream machine for me.
I'll be buying one asap....

Advantages: it really is as quick as it says it is Disadvantages: a little bit noisy!
...Having seen the shopping channel advert for this a few times i was really interested to see if it would would 'do as it says on the tin'. I brought mine from ebay and have been impressed!
Usually quite a cynical person i have found 'the bullet' to be easy to use and economical to store - no bulky blending units here! Just a pint-sized processor and various cups, juicers and blending jugs along with 2 different blades.
My favourite use so far has to be for making smoothies - but pasta sauces and soup are also easily done! I would warn that trying to 'chop' onions can make them a little bit mushy but overall i have been surprised by the fact that the Magic Bullet stands up to all expectations.
So good, i have recommended to friends!...

Advantages: Convenient and compact Disadvantages: Isn't as wonderful as looks on TV
...A couple of months ago, I saw the advertisement for the "Magic Bullet" on TV. I was fascinated by the various tasks the two hosts were performing in the Magic Bullet, but I was not entirely sure whether or not to buy it, because of the traditional "TV advertising" reputation. At the end of the advertisement, I told myself not to buy it, so instead, I switched between the other shopping channels.
However, the next day, I once again sat and watched the advertisement again, and hesitated whether or not to buy it. This happened for around two weeks, until I finally decided to purchase it, despite the £65 price tag, with £6.99 p&p.
Once it was delivered, my first impressions were not very good. The actual "bullet" looked far wider and heavier than in the advertisement, and all the bits and pieces in the box looked complicated...
