Disadvantages: low water capacity

...Having recently just purchased this Bush kettle I must say I really love it. I really like the look. It has a clear glass bowl for the water so you can watch the water boil (f you wish!!) . The heating element is hidden away so keeping the asthetics nice and tidy. It also comes with it's own Anticalc filter thus stopping limescale from entering your beverages! The plastic base,handle and lid is in grey and black colours. There is also a red L.E.D to show the kettle is in operation. Of course having a wattage from 2750 - 3000 it is also pretty quick at boiling. I spot two flaws though, it only has a 1.4 litre capacity and this is just a personal thing but you have to take the lid off to fill kettle.... Read review

Advantages: Wheels on floor attachment make hoovering virtually effort free
Disadvantages: Filters are not readily available

...We bought this vacuum cleaner because of the reasonable price (less than £70 at the time) and the wattage (1600) which was higher than our old one. Now that we've had it for over a year, I'm not happy at all. The filter gets clogged up quite quickly which results in a massive loss of suction and of course this means that your carpet is not hoovered properly. I have a small child and I want to not have to worry about my hoover not doing its job effectively. My main problem with this hoover is that the filter replacements are almost impossible to find. They're not sold by Argos.co.uk where I originally bought it and they're not sold by any of the popular retail shops that sell these sorts of things. I had to go to Bush directly who don't even have a proper website where you can check out all their hoovers and order replacement... Read review

Advantages: Removable Plates
Disadvantages: Food leaks into totally uncleanable rear crevasses & around/beneath the plates. Very shallow dishes = poor filling

...I purchased the Bush TS281 on line from Amazon. The appeal was the removable plates for cleaning.......WRONG !!..I not only found the dishes too small to accept a reasonable filling but when I tried to put an acceptable amount of filling into a sandwich....It leaked not only contaminating the many crevases at the rear of the machine, but ALSO leaked around beneath the lower removable plate and onto the heating element. As you can imagine this not only caused an unholy stink, but once cooled down was impossible clean off the burnt on food satisfactorily...as was the contamination that had leaked over the back and 'even into the flex protecting springs'. Rather than undertaking a massive clean up which, I have no doubt, would have meant dismantling the machine, It was consigned to the bin!!!.....So £16 poorer and STILL NO SANDWICH... Read review
