time Bub and Bob return to center stage as they fling bubbles from the bottom screen to the top in an attempt to match 3 bubbles causing them to pop. You have to be fast because with each second you waste deciding your next move, the rows of bubbles get lower and lower. With a multiplayer mode allowing 5 people to play via the Nintendo DS' wireless link, this Bust-a-Move will prove to be the ultimate battle party game.
Advantages: Easy, amusing for a while. Disadvantages: Soon gets tedious and repetitive, annoying music, budget buy at best.
...by Tesco DVD/Game rental called Bust a Move for the Wii. I added this to my rental list as my wife played the original on the PSone some years ago and liked it and I thought she might like the Wii version also. Well I still haven't managed to get her to play the game but have spent some playing it myself as its really quite addictive if a little basic. I'll start by trying to explain what its all about.
*The Game*
Bust a Move is a bit of an old ... ...the only major difference with this new version are some slightly improved graphics and you point and shoot using the Wiii remote. The aim of the game is to launch colour bubbles up from a central point to try and match up 3 or more bubble of the same colour. Sort of a puzzle version of the old breakout bat and ball games if you will. There are several game modes available so I'll try and out line them next.

Advantages: Good puzzle game for kids Disadvantages: Doesn't keep you playing for more than a few minutes
When I saw this game in the shop I thought I'd give it a go. I had played it before on another console (which one I cannot remember) so I bought it. I usually enjoy puzzle games like this one so I was quite excited as I began playing. The basis of the game is to shoot coloured bubbles up the screen using the Wii remote as your pointer. You have to get 3 or more of the same colour bubbles together and then they disappear.

Some are very easy to complete others a little more tricky, however it does get a little tedious after you have done about 20 levels!!! You get flying saucer type things going across the screen at various points which if you fire at you get a special bubble. These special bubbles do various things such as blowing ...

Advantages: Simple to pick up and play Disadvantages: Too easy for hardcore gamers
...changed completly to the old Bust A Move games. Firstly, there is no longer a split screen but instead compete on the same screen blasting bubbles in the same area. This can make it very confusing and I would hate to see what it was like on 8 player mode.
Overall it is quite an easy game to complete but it is very addictive when you pick it up. ...

Advantages: quick fire action Disadvantages: gets boring after a while
I recently bought bust.a.move for my wii from GAME and cost £29.99 and it is worth the money... just!
The game itself consists of 4 main modes puzzle, endless, versus and shooting. In puzzle mode it is a siingle player mode where you need to clear all the bubbles by blasting them with the same colour bubble from your bubble cannon. Once all bubbles have been burst you are able to progress to the next stage. There are five main areas in puzzle mode ...

I'll admit it to everyone right now: I suck at puzzle games. Ever since Tetris on the original mono Game Boy I have built up a strong dislike for the genre based purely on the fact that I can't play them. Seriously, challenge me to a game of Dr... more
My recent review on the Wii console gave it much praise which I still feel was well justified. The games we had at Christmas were all very good playable and lots of fun, so our anticipation to playing the latest addition to the collection would have been more
