Disadvantages: Limited choice.

I was actually quite saddened to read some negative reviews of BuyCosmetics here because I've bought from them for about 5 years now and I really like them a lot so I'd like to share my own opinion of them here. I have probably placed about 30 orders with them in total and I think I have had problems with two of those orders. The first was not really their fault because it was Royal Mail who lost my order. ...another. It was supposed to be a gift for someone so it was very inconvenient at the time. The second problem I had was that the plunger in a face cream I bought did not work but I sent it back and a replacement turned up within a week. I waited nearly two weeks for my order to arrive along with free £25 worth of make up items. The make up was ok as at least there were no garish colours but the item ordered was not really what I expected. Not bad value but the colour was black instead of the expected skin colour. I decided to keep the item anyway as I could not face spending yet more money returning it and having to wait so long again for a replacement or refund. I would advise anyone to check carefully on colour, size etc. I will not order from this Company again as far too slow! and not very clear with descriptions of goods.

Advantages: Some cheap buys.

Buycosmetics often has offers and this is what is prominent in the mailings. Not being one to resist a bargain, I had to take a look. Since then, I have used the site several times. ...* As already mentioned, buycosmetics.com has lots of offers. The clearance has 43% off, 75% off, 79% off, Versace, Calvin Klein, W Seven, Revlon, Maxfactor. They offer the usual lipsticks, eyeshadows, perfume. Some of the brands are not the major high street ones. Revlon and Maxfactor do not have many items. ...I became aware that buycosmetics.com had a bad reputation on forums but still tried it for myself. I now wish I hadn't. It's now 6 weeks since I placed the order and no refund in sight. They are a small company but this is no excuse. Many small businesses operate effectively and become very successful, unfortunately this is not one of them. Disadvantages: If you are after a specific product by a specific brand, you may be in for disappointment
