Wireless ready!

Advantages: Plug-and-Play
Disadvantages: Pricey!

Having tried to connect my 360 via ethernet to my wireless connection, through my Mac or my Windows laptop, and having no success, this provided the only feasible solution. Unfortunately, unlike the PS3, the Xbox 360 is not wireless-ready out of the box, and in order to make it so, you must invest a further £50+, which is quite a pain in the rear. Unfortunately, it seems that, in making the console itself so cheap and appealing, Microsoft aim (as always) to make their money on the peripherals, which everybody needs for the full gaming experience. Xbox 360 Wireless Adapter A must for all Gamers

Advantages: Easy to install, Works well, reliable
Disadvantages: Expensive

you to a new page showing all wireless networks in your area. My adapter had no trouble in finding my router which is around 7 metres away and has two walls inbetween it and the adapter. The network came up instantly and clicking on it will bring you to a new screen. The new screen will ask you to enter all the necessary information for you to access your network. You can automatically search for IP address, Subnet Mask and Gateway and automatically search for your DNS settings. Your Adapter should automatically find your network type and your wireless security settings, then you simply type in your network code and click confirm and your Xbox is connected Wirelessly.
