This is a good product for those who wish for pure interoperability between a Windows only network. Somewhat easy to set up, and can be a hassle to keep running. As with other Microsoft products, support may be limited, and will be obsolete within a year or so, and updating may cause incompatibilities with other networked machines, account setups, and applications hosted on the server. But, it is a familiar interface, being windows. I personally wouldn't get this again, but that's because my needs were too specific for this server software. That doesn't mean you don't need it. Novell Small Business Suite 6 - Now FREE

Advantages: FREE, Not Microsoft, Flexibility, Cost per user, 2 server licences
Disadvantages: Limited backup system requiring a third party product.

WOW - Novell have just made this great package absolutely free. You can get it at http://www.ramms.co.uk/novell.htm perfectly legally. The free version offers 5 concurrent user & 2 server licences. There is an expansion pack, which adds a further 5 concurrent users and enables more user licences to be added, but adding this is still cheaper than a standard 10 user licence. Let me explain that this is a comprehensive suite of small business tools designed to assist communication and provide network computer users with easy access to centrally resourced, computer network based, applicaations, tools and information, both locally and/or via the Internet.
