The problem? When you close the dishwasher's door, the low profile of the door's inner skin completely traps any food particles, or liquid residue, which has fallen, or dripped, onto the dishwasher floor, where the door meets the main body of the machine.
Consequently, during the wash, this area remains completely sealed ... ...has finished, there is an inch-wide line of muck, which you have no choice but to wipe away, after every wash. It's unpleasant, and worse, unhygienic.
You would think that CDA, who should consider themselves lucky that anyone wants to risk half a grand on an unknown make such as theirs, would want to bend over backwards to help in a situation like this.
