I first purchased this book from Amazon in October 2006 to aid my studies in my degree course of Business Management. This book was the latest in the series to be produced therefore it had the most up-to-date examples of cases to reference from etc.

The text book has 433 pages of content split into 26 sections. The book covers information for beginners starting from explaining the basic legal system, continuing to cover different types of law and what type of laws apply specifically to businesses. As I have never specifically studied law I was glad to find a lot of the vocabulary to be clearly explained, with relevant examples to aid your understanding.
I also find that just reading a making notes can become boring and I actually take longer to learn if I am doing this continuously. Therefore the text book had ...
Advantages: Qualifyinf for LPC Disadvantages: Some find it too tough
The Law Department at Bournemouth University forms a part of the faculty of Finance and Law. The LL.B is a qualifying law degree for exemption from academic stages of the Law Society.
The first year of the degree does not count towards the final degree result (which is a shame, because it is the easiest year). In year one, most of the core subjects are covered: Criminal Law, Law of Contracts, Public Law (another name for Constitutional Law) and Land Law. As it is a businesslaw degree there is also an IT & Accounting module.
Year two finishes the subjects required by the Law Society and again includes an IT and Accounting module.
In the final year all subjects are optional, but the options are not very wide-ranging and some options may change at the last minute. Reknowned as the hardest options are International Trade Law ...

Advantages: Incredibly funny throughout most of it.Unpredictable and touching at times. Disadvantages: Sometimes the gags are a bit cheesy and basic.
I Now Pronounce You Chuck And Larry (rated 15), stars Adam Sandler and Kevin James (released in 2008). This comedy was actually a really good buy if like me you only spent a quid on it in your local supermarket bargain bin.
It's about these two guys, Chuck and Larry (Sandler and James), who are fireman and who do everything together. Adam Sandlers character really annoyed me in this movie for some reason, although I normally find his characters really cute and endearing. In this movie he plays a player and I think the overly butch and often sexist behaviour is intended to contrast the drastic change of heart he later has when he really does fall in love (oops hope I am not giving too much away).
One of them saving the other ones life results in the cashing in of a favour that changes both their lives drastically. Both straight ...
