Why bother buying a CMEkeyboard when there are plenty others, with more established names: Edirol, M-Audio, Korg, Novation - to name but a few? Well, there are a couple of reasons:
1) It is very compact and easily portable. Not an inch of space is wasted. It is probably the narrowest 49-keykeyboard, as well as one of the slimmest. You can easily carry it with you, put it on your desk and even keep it on your lap!
2) Key action is quite good. Obviously, this is a matter of preference, but for me it is better than the Edirols, Yamahas and quite a few other keyboards and MIDI-controllers I have tried. The action is quite firm, but not hard. I usually do not fancy so called "weighed" keyboards. I don't know why, but they do not have the same action as a real grand piano. Advantages: Build in musical keyboard, lots of hotkeys. Disadvantages: Delay with Microsoft Synth, cover clip broken.
This is actually my brothers Prodikeys, however he is letting me use it for now.
Just using it as a normal keyboard, this is a good keyboard, with nice keys, and fairly flat keys like a laptop, which I prefer. It has many hotkeys, you can program to what you want which is useful, and has all the multimedia keys.
On the top of the keyboard, from the left, is the key to open the prodikeys software, and then 3 keys next to that on the right, Sustain, Octave up and down, which when you are not using the prodikeys software, these keys are to open a web browser, open email, and open instant messenager. Futher to the right, there is a calculator key, calender, address book, My Documents, My Pictures, Music, Lock, stand by, then the multimedia keys, play/pause, stop, skip left/right, and then open media player software. I have owned a playstation 3 for a number of years now with a sixaxis controller. The controller is extreamly suffisticated as well as all of the normal buttons which are used for conventional gameplay it also contains a gyroscope which monitors its position and movements in six axis, clever hey. The sxiaxis motion control offers a new way to play games and makes things more interesting and more challenging. For example when playing a racing game with a friend and we get a little bored we may play a game where we just use the motion control which makes it alot more challenging and adds alot of amusement.
Some of the best games I have found to use with the sixaxis include Super Rub a Dub very entertaining no matter who you are.
As time goes on the use of the motion control wil get better and better and will include better refinement ...
