...SOMETHING TO CONSIDER FOR MAC USERS! When I researched this drive, I noticed that a 200GB version was being marketed for Mac users. This drive was priced a few pounds less than the 300GB, with the only difference being (as far as I could tell) that it was preformatted for a Mac. Given that it's a simple and quick task to reformat these drives for use with a Mac AND that they ship with the Mac version of the back-up software on disk, it seems a pointless waste of money to pay nearly as much for 100GB less space. (Note: correct at time of writing) Novice users may not be aware that they have the ability to reformat the PC version. I recommend that you check this information out if contemplating the Mac version! INSTALLATION Simple. Advantages: HaLoads of storage space
Disadvantages: Annoying blue light

...on the front is annoying because it is too bright and keeps glaring in my spectacles and leaving floaters in my eyes. The most annoying thing about it though is that the actual hard drive space is only 232 GB and not the 250 GB that it states it is. So in total you lose out on 18 whooping GB of Hard drive space. How rude. On the positive side though I have found the stand very handy for saving space on my desktop and it fit nicely in my bag for transportation. Price I think that this was a bargain at only £69.99 from Staples, but if you are think of buying one you must hurry because the offer runs out this weekend 5/11/06 My thoughts I like my hard drive.
