CMS Automatic Backup System Plus For Mac Notebook 100 GB

Advantages: Everything works automatically, very user friendly, great bundled software
Disadvantages: Gets hot very quickly, only 38 GB of free space after operating system installation

...I use Windows XP Pro every day for my job as a web designer but need a laptop to show clients my work. A laptop would also allow me to backup all my accounting files and work on them anywhere. I've never used the Mac operating system but after reading several good reviews I decided to go for it. And I wasn't disappointed! I ordered my system from Apple UK's website. I went for a refurbished model and save over £100. Everything was sealed inside but a plain cardboard refurbished box was used instead of the normal MacBook packaging. It could have passed from brand new it was in such good condition. I decided to get an Apple MacBook Core Duo 1.83 Ghz with 512mb of RAM. Although this is the entry level MacBook I was very impressed with how fast the operating system is. Everything loads and operates smoothly. The only excpetion... Read review

...I've been using it for many years, and it still works very well. Hadn't used it much of late, but as I have just set up a small home network, I connected it to the laptop which does not have a CD burner, and wow! it works great networked too! Windows XP and Windows 2000 autoinstall it, so there is no need to used the drivers CD. Good for downloads backups, photos, etc. It is quite compact, so it doesn't take up too much space. USB and power cables are provided with the drive. The USB cable is a bit short, but it's handy for travelling. Doesn't take up too much space if you store it in a laptop carrying case. Nowadays 100mb is not much, but plenty of things still fit on it. The plastic case is transparent blue, same colour as the iMacs.
