...to identify them all if you buy this brand by labelling them all differently, such as 'backup drive 1', 'digital camera photos backup drive' or whatever. Its easy enough to move files, using the usual copy paste or drag and drop functions. One thing to be aware of, is that if your running either Windows 2000 or Windows XP, it may be worth considering reformatting your drive to the NTFS file system. This provides several advantages, mainly support for very large files. The user guide/manual provided with the drive goes into alot more information about this, if your interested. Also the drive will display a drive capacity thats slightly less than the capacity stated on the box. Advantages: Slimline, many different options and room for expansion

The video adapter used by the laptop is an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900 which has up to 128MB of shared system memory. Advantages: Despite faults, I feel it still has some decent reliability
Disadvantages: Monitor lighting glitch, burning to CDs stopped working after 1 yr or so, touch pad glitch

...than 3 years after I originally got it, says quite alot I believe. This comes with an advertised 40gb hard drive, although if you check that, it'll say that its real full capacity is only 37.2gb, I believe all computers are somewhat misleadingly advertised as having slightly more space than they have, the extra being used for installing basics like the operating system (in this case, Windows XP Home edition. I know Vista is out now but im loyal to XP, as I know it (at least tends to, Microsoft(!) lol) tends to work and I don't trust switching to a new 'OS' (Operating System) too soon before all the main glitches have been found and patches released to fix them anyway. Well there goes my first grump but thats not really related to the laptop anyway lol so back to the subject at hand, its sold as having 256mb RAM, which, back when I got it... Read review
