Advantages: Free dealing for 30 days Disadvantages: Need to send off ID details
...I noticed an advertisement in this weeks Investors Chronicle by the Charles Schwab online stockbrokers offering free dealing for 30 days. I then checked out the website at www.schwab-europe.com and found the application form. You can either complete this online and print off or apply by post, either way you need the appropriate ID and financial details. You can also chose whether to open a nominee account. Other online stockbrokers seem to charge anything from £15 per deal to £5 so this might well be an offer worth taking up if you are active on the markets....

Easy Review ofDirect Line Insurance plcby
mart6011
Advantages: easy Disadvantages: none

Advantages: Uniform price all over Europe Disadvantages:
...Euro Business is a birght glossy publication, which appears monthly halfway through the month, and tends to focus on a particular industrial sector, and often features articles about various bluechip concerns.
There is quite a lot of advertising, and it is invariably from the areas most likely to interest businesses, namely Business Telecomms, business travel as well as a good deal of Formula One related advertising, the society element of the magazine being the "Paddock" photosections - all the bigwigs at the grand prix.
A great thing is that the price is near standard throughout Europe - it costs the equivalent of €4.00 all across the EU - so thats GBP2.50, DEM7.82 and so on. The magazine has done some very good features on Media groups such as the German Kirch Gruppe, and comment is incisive and well referenced. Subscribers get...
