Intel Dual-Core Xeon 5130 / 2 GHz processor
Review of Intel Dual-Core Xeon 5130 / 2 GHz processor by mop591

Advantages: very fast, reliable
Disadvantages: pricey, need to have IT knowledge

This dual 2GHZ core processor with combined speed of 4Ghz and a 4Mb Cache makes a very fast pc and will cope easily with many demanding programs running at once. There are probably better deals for the same or better processors, but you are paying for the quality, many dont have a high 4Mb cache. This would be most recommend for IT technicians or people who know what they are doing. The main let down of this is the variation in the price, while ... Read review

Powerful system
Review of Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 / 2 GHz processor ( mobile ) by thewhitewolf

Advantages: Powerful, not expensive
Disadvantages: none

We initially invited three companies to quote for our new kitchen -Magnet, Moben and a local independent company. The quotes were all quite similar and we chose Magnet as they seemed the most enthusiastic, adaptable and professional. We love our new Magnet kitchen and overall our experience was good mainly thanks to the excellent fitters who sorted all the inevitable hiccups on a big job with ease and professionalism. Sadly, service from our designer ...
...worse as time went on. He gave both the fitters and granite people incorrect plans so definitely be on site yourself when the templators to do the templating, Magnet actually tried to get us to pay an extra £150 for the granite because of a mistake their designer had made when ordering it. We naturally said that was down to them and refused. The designer also failed to order some necessary parts when he should have which caused quite a lot of delay ... Read review

Review of Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 / 2.66 GHz processor by benzas

Advantages: Blistering Speed
Disadvantages: None

...is the 2nd generation (already) Intel processor based on it's 'core' microarchitecture. The previous being called Netburst, and is still around in Pentium 4's and Pentium D 9 series processors. The beauty of the Core 2 Duo chips are the incredible power they are capable of, which producing half the heat of the Pentium 4's. On benchmarking, this processor alone increased the speed of my computer by 53%. This is a huge amount considering i payed less ...
...The processor has a very fast Front Side Bus (FSB) speed of 1066 Mhz and will work with the fastest Ram you can throw at it. It also stays very cool, even under excrutiatingly hardcore tasks, like encoding 3 DVD's simultaneously while editing my photos in the number crunching monster that is Adobe Photoshop CS2. The brilliance behind it is due to several important things. There is a 4Mb cache (which is a lot more than AMD give you) which is shared ... Read review

cheap but good processor!
Review of Intel Pentium Dual Core E2160 / 1.8 GHz processor by ahassan_006

Advantages: cheap & good processor!
Disadvantages: 1m cache

Intel Pentium Dual Core E2160 / 1.8 GHz processor is helpful for those people who want to buy good processor but in cheapest rate. It is a stripped down low cost version of the Core 2 Duo. The performance of the processor at stock speed is good. As it is a dual core processor, its multitasking performance is very good. You can compare this processor with other in the following link: http://reviews.cnet.com/processors/intel-pentium-dual-core/4540-3086 ...
...only. But if you want to play games with it.. then the best configuration will be 1. 1333mhz capable motherboard 2. 2GB of DDR2 800mhz RAM 3. ATI 3850 or Geforce 8800gs graphics card 4. Western digital/ Maxtor hard disk 5. case, keyboard, mouse.....etc Installation of the processor is easy. It is same as core 2 duo. So no need to worried about it... ... Read review
