Advantages: excellant speed for gaming
Disadvantages: not compatible to all mother boards

AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ / 3 GHz processor is very fast and reliable when compared to other processors which is more costly. AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ / 3 GHz processor is very reliable when we use graphic softwares like photoshop or when we play 3D games which are very resource gulping. AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ / 3 GHz processor will not lag or make you wait when we use large sized digital photos when downloading form digital cameras.I put this into the ...

THE INTEL PROCESSOR.
Review of Intel Pentium 4 530J / 3 GHz processor by packerlist

Advantages: VERY HIGH SPEED IN PROCESSING
Disadvantages: : MAKES NOISE.

...reason is that my other Intel seems to be outdated and the number two reasons is that I wanted a more advanced and faster processor for my PC gaming so I had to buy this for these reasons. The processor comes in an orange packed colour with blue stripe at the edge of the pack and also with an instruction, heat stick and fan for cooling down the temperature. The processor makes it outright for easy installation and application so no problem when ...
...The Intel Pentium 4 3.0GHZ socket 775 CPU has hyper technology and I think that was the best processor computer product I could find in the market and I decided to buy it after a long battle between Intel and athlon processor on which one to buy. The Intel processors that I have been using have been good and processing fine and have not encountered any problem since in use of the brand so for the reason of replacements, I just wanted a more advanced ... Great speed, but too hot
Review of Intel Pentium 4 631 / 3 GHz processor by deepblue_

Advantages: Very fast and trustble chip
Disadvantages: Gets very hot

...has HT, 64bits support and a lot of others features.. another thing, the cooler that comes with it probably won't handle the heat, so if you're buying this processor, start looking for good cooler like Zalman, thermaltake.. works great with windows vista 64, and it's a Intel processor chip.. ^^ ... if you want cheap there's a reason why
Review of Intel Celeron D 356 / 3.33 GHz processor by sim_simian

Advantages: cheap, reliable good for everyday tasks.
Disadvantages: you can't expect too much

Got this processor in a cheap Medion pc (from tescos £300) about six months ago was intially very impressed by the frequency 3.33 ghz which sounds good. However this is deceiving to the performance of the cpu i.e. though it handles simple pc tasks such as non demanding things like the internet it often slows down and nearly constantly runs at 100% frequency or quite near that level. Game performance with this cpu is poor and will lead to low fps ...
...cache size 512k, adequete cache size is one of the main neccesitys for good pc gaming and intensive applications. In conclusion value for money but you get what you pay for, if your thinking of upgrading i'd delfinately go for a dual core processor for the sake of twenty pounds extra. ... Read review

Intel 541 Review
Review of Intel Pentium 4 541 / 3.2 GHz processor by robump

Advantages: Great Price, Value for money
Disadvantages: It is not dual core, Single core processors are becoming out dated

I have used this processor in my media centre when i built it up. I feel that it is excellent value for money. It comes with everything you need for you to install it into a lga 775 socket, the fan and heatsink already come supplied with thermal paste applied. It is very easy to install into a socket 775 and uses conductive pads instead of the old pins. I would say it took me about 15mins to install mine and it works brilliantly. It runs at an average ...
...how much other cooling you have in your case. This processor uses intels hyper threading technology which helps it along when you are doing very processor intensive tasks e.g. video encoding. This processor runs very stable at 3.2 ghz and I have not tried overclocking it yet as i have no need for a media centre. I have not as yet had any problems with this processor and it has worked perfectly for me right out of the box. It comes with a instruction ... Read review
