I currently have this CPU running on my main PC, which I prefer to the Athlon 64 3000+ I also have. Granted the 64 has more number-crunching ability, however for the price and limitations it has, the XP soars forward. If you have an old PC lying around which could benefit from this, it's probably better sooner rather than later, as the price has pretty much bottomed out, and the processor is now low end, and some companies may stop stocking it. Intel have really got it right with this CPU. It was easy to install and runs like a dream. To take real advantage of the power of this CPU it really needs the Vista 64bit version and there are few software compatibility problems now so it is worth taking the plunge. A brilliant processor, can run the latest games with ease. Brilliant value too! I play the likes of crysis and cod4 seamlessly with this processor. There are a few things you must be careful of though, first of all this processor gives out a fair amount of heat!
