This is an absolute great processor for office use. It can bear very high temperatures, and with the right motherboard and bios it can be overclocked easily. Works great at Windows XP when using word, internet, reading your e-mail etc. (office use). When this processor is installed properly and doen't have to endure very high temperatures it will have probably a lifetime of 5-10 years (maybe even longer). ...processor is actually called an AMD Athlon64 3000+, which means that it is the equivalent to an Intel 3Ghz. But it is called here a 2Ghz because AMD are better than Intel and their processors can handle more information, so can be slower, and therefore cooler. ...Intel, it will use the AMD 64bit chip (what this has) because Microsoft said to Intel that the new XP would ONLY work with the AMD chip because it was better!! Advantages: Good value for money, Can take a lot of stress, doesn't warm us as much as other processors

...The installation of the Sempron is about the same as every other processor in the world, it helps to know what you are doing, or get a professional to do it for you. If you know what you are doing then it should only take around 10 minuets to put in, depend on the ease of access to your motherboard.
