Best Value Processor On The Market
Review of Intel Pentium Dual Core E2160 / 1.8 GHz processor by
Wickentree
Advantages: Value for money, Performance, Easy to install
Disadvantages: Small 1MB L2 Cache, Instructions are a little lacking
Performance
I thought that it would be best to talk out the performance of the processor first since this is what everybody is looking for with games and application becoming more demanding. The performance of the E2160 out of the box is quite slow at only 1.8GHz but this is where the beauty of this processor comes in, it is highly overclockable, I have mine running at 3.2ghz and it doesn't go above 60 degrees C. The small 1MB L2 Cache does ... ...expensive reviews but this CPU has amazing performance for its price.
Price
For its price this CPU is outstanding, I got mine for just under £50 and 3.2ghz from a £50 processor is just brilliant in my opinion, even some of the more expensive processors don't get these sort of speeds. This is bar far one of the best value processors currently available on the market.
Installation
Installation of this processor was extremely easy, ...

E2140 - Awesome Budget Chip!
Review of Intel Pentium Dual Core E2140 / 1.6 GHz processor by
LRDMan
Advantages: Cheap, powerful, awesome overclocking
Disadvantages: Fairly small cache
I was looking for a low budget chip for a new computer, with decent overclockability, and after looking around, chose the E2140.
The E2140 really is a great chip, whether its for a basic computer or powerful gaming machine, it can suit most peoples needs!
At stock speeds, there is plenty of power for most daily tasks, which is great from a CPU that costs just £45, considering you can pay in excess of £500 for a processor.
As well as performing ... ...managed to reach 3Ghz, on standard volts and cooling. This is an awesome overclocker, and very easy too.
Overall, I would recommend this to just about anyone looking to build a fairly low budget PC. It offers great value for money, and with a little tweaking, it's power can nearly be doubled! ...

Great value and performance from Intel
Review of Intel Core 2 Duo E6320 / 1.86 GHz processor by
neo1983
Advantages: Price,Great value = performance/money , stability, low power consumption
Disadvantages: There are faster dual and quad core processors on market
This new Intel core 2 processor E6320 replaces the old Core Duo E6300, and has a series of notable advantages over the latter one. I tested both products and one thing is sure, by adding two extra MB on the processor die, the performance increased quite a little. I've tested both processors in several aplications and the speed difference varies from almost none (rendering), to notable in encoding, compressing, multimedia (3-6 % speed increase) and ... ...the same price like E6300 processor
The speed is just great for it's price and if you thing it isn't fast enough this processor is highly overclockable. my tested version worked until 2.93 Ghz with the stock cooler included and without increased core voltage The stability of this core 2 processor is great, never experienced a single type of problem in 10 hour of testing.
The power consumption in great, this processor using the B2 technology stepping ...

dual core beauty
Review of Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 / 1.86 GHz processor by
sim_simian
Advantages: fast and responsive (though ciao's still slow)
Disadvantages: ummm it's not a quad core
had this cpu for week now happy with the performance in desktop applications, and in gaming; in counter strike source my fps is now between 60-70 running the cpu at stock which is ace.
The three best aspects of this processor is the dual core, which helps immensely with multi tasking so if you are like me get bored easily and try and do many things at once this cpu will deal with it fine.
Secondly the cache size is a really healthy 2mb which delfinately ...

E4300 King of Overclocking
Review of Intel Core 2 Duo E4300 / 1.8 GHz processor by
piotrekpol
Advantages: high overclocking, dual core
Disadvantages: none
This cpu is very cheap and gives more power overclocked then any other core 2 duo processor
I am using Scythe Infinity to cool it down and on 1,5V it is running at 3,6 GHz 100% overclock
My motherboard is Asus P5B Deluxe WIFI/AP
All fans in my PC are running on 5V not 12V so it is very quiet, 120 mm fan on scythe infinity runs on 5V as well
After overclocking all benchmarks and ratings doubled leaving behind all dual core cpu's
Temperature of ...
