E2180 pentium dual core CPU
Review of Intel Pentium Dual Core E2180 / 2 GHz processor by
dav1d_gogs73
Advantages: Cheap, Powerfull
Disadvantages: Small L2 cache
This is brilliant processor for its small price. In fact i like it so much, im writing this review using it right now. It is really easily over clocked using the right mother board. Personally, i have overclocked to 2.5Ghz using a cheap Gigabyte motherboard and an arctic cooling freezer 7 pro heat-sink fan unit. I have found that it is brilliant for multi-tasking. Even the programs that heavily use CPU power are done with ease on this powerful little ... ...obviously depending on case cooling and heat-sink fan, its not too bad. In my computer i have 3 additional 80cm fans for cooling as well as the heat-sink fan and im peaking at 45 degrees Celsius.
The only disadvantage i can see with the CPU would be the L2 cache size. At only 1GB its not as fast as the Core 2 Duo CPU's but at this price its worth it. ...

Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 / 2.33 GHz processor
Review of Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 / 2.33 GHz processor by
mop591
Advantages: Very fast, cheap
Disadvantages: need to have IT expereince
This intel dual core processor with 2.33Ghz speed (total speed of 4.6Ghz) with a 4MB Cache can handle an awful lot of demanding programs runnning at once, obviously it has its limits, but for the price its a very good processor. This processor is also compatable with 64 bit computing.
It has an LGA775 Socket which is compatable with most of the new motherboards if you are looking to upgrade or build your own pc. If you are looking to buy a processor ...

Top Range Dual Core Processor
Review of Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 / 2.13 GHz processor by
TheTechGuy0
Advantages: Good clock speed, good video decoding and overall reliabilty
Disadvantages: Only 2 MB cache
The Core 2 Duo e6400 has many good features:
It uses a 1066 MHZ FSB (front side bus) for a fast link on the motherboard.
It 2 cores running at 2.13 GHZ
The Processor is very EASY to overclock; just be careful.
It is energy effecient and runs cool, unless you over clock
Not as good features:
2 MB cache low compared to others in the range
I found this processor to be excellent; it was extremely fast. With this processor there is no worry of ...

Advantages: fast
Disadvantages: hard to think of one
This intel dual core processor with 2.4Ghz speed (total speed of 4.8Ghz) with a 2MB Cache can handle an awful lot of demanding programs runnning at once and for the amazingly low price its a very good processor. This processor is also compatable with 64 bit computing.
