These new processors deliver amazing performance and power efficiency. With four execution cores, the Intel® Core™2 Quad processor blows through processor-intensive tasks in demanding multitasking environments and makes the most of highly threaded applications. Graphics Video works Just SUPER.Keep it cool, and you should be able to do some over clocking. I turned my ASUS auto overclocking off since I really dont need to over clock (& void the ... Advantages: Cool and Stable
Disadvantages: low speed

This processor work very well compare to intel dual core and it is generate less heat. Good for gaming and multi tasking. Among the game i have run on it is Oblivion IV and Fear. Temperature will rise till 45 - 55 but will not exceed 60 degree. At idle temperature and normal task like typing i notice the temperature around 38 - 43 degree. Advantages: Great overclocking Facilities
Disadvantages: Fiddly to install, recommend a pro

I brought this processor approximately 2months ago as an upgrade from my old processsor. I found that for the money it was a tremendous upgrade, and that it was just right for a computer with graphic design capabilities, The processor runs without any hesitation or lag, it has plenty of overclocking facilities if you wish to push more power out of your mahcine, which i decided not to, but as a test i did overclock it to 3500 which out any problems, ... Top Range Dual Core Processor
Review of Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 / 2.13 GHz processor by TheTechGuy0

Advantages: Good clock speed, good video decoding and overall reliabilty
Disadvantages: Only 2 MB cache

The Core 2 Duo e6400 has many good features: It uses a 1066 MHZ FSB (front side bus) for a fast link on the motherboard. It 2 cores running at 2.13 GHZ The Processor is very EASY to overclock; just be careful. It is energy effecient and runs cool, unless you over clock Not as good features: 2 MB cache low compared to others in the range I found this processor to be excellent; it was extremely fast. With this processor there is no worry of ... Read review

The last Amd Mohican
Review of AMD Sempron 3600+ / 2 GHz processor by neo1983

Advantages: Very cheap, extremely low power consuption, can be used with fanless cooler
Disadvantages: Poor performance compared with today multi core processors

Well what can I say, single core processor, I used to have something like this not so long ago, a good processor then but now a new era of processors had arrived, the dual core and quad core processors. Nevertheless the processor has it's own and unique advantages and disadvantages: The good stuff: Still not many multi thread aplications that the processor deals pretty well Magnificent power consumption, only 30-35 watt on full load, and 5-6 watt ...
...fan less cooler for a silent and energy efficient computer So cheap The not so good stuff: Modest performance in single threaded aplications Poor performance in multi threaded aplications Say goodbye to HD movies (although some video cards can decode HD movies, but why risk: ) and future applications Modest over clocking on low cost motherboards, only 300-500 Mhz Conclusion: recommended for silent and energy efficient office computers ...
