Review of VIA C3 750 MHz processor by
NAZGUL
Advantages: its cheap
Disadvantages: its not a power chip
VIA Technologies Cyrix III
This processor is designed for entry level pcs but has much more to offer than Intel’s Celerons but fails short of AMD Durons but it does offer more performance than people think with both MMX and 3Dnow as well as being the first processor to offer 0.13 micron beating the others to this crown and the fastest model is 833 but the prices are very cheap and for those who want a basic machine for ...

Great Value Processor.
Review of AMD Duron 1.6 GHz processor by
ralvarez
Advantages: Cheap and great oveclocking ability
Disadvantages: Buy this product if you're in a tight budget but still wanted to have the speed and value.
The AMD Duron processor is really the next generation in computing platforms, delivering extra performance for cutting-edge applications and an extraordinary computing experience. It can outperform the pentium 4 1.8 ghz in some benchmark testing.AM I Bought this processor 6 months ago but just recently decided to overclock it. Got it up over 1.9ghz on a Jetway Mobo with no problem and the temperature goes up at around at 45 degrees celsius. (w/an ... ...because of it's overclocking ability. I guess no other processor can't beat the value of this processorIt's very cheap and fast. with the right heatsink and motherboard it can reach up to 2.4 ghz!!! I told a friend to order one of these for his midrange processor coupled with a Biostar M7NCD pro, 2x256 GEIL ddr400 in dual channel and a GeForceFX 5600 Ultra FlipChip does pretty nicely. Wanted more speed out of the proc so we ordered a Speeze FalconRock, ...

Review of AMD Duron 1 GHz processor by
prestonian
Advantages: blasting 200MHZ FSB
Disadvantages: low L2 cache
AMD is one of the most superscaler, low priced and innovative cpu provider.. one of them is the Duron processors series.... that is low priced and powerful....
i own an AMD Duron CPU @ 1GHZ speed... it's performance is superb.... it has the latest core architecture , that supports 200 Mhz DDR front side bus (FSB)... has 128KB of L1 cache but a low L2 cache that is 64KB... but this does't let this cpu down....
technically, it is the younger brother ... ...technology and 3 floating points pipelines that offer more processing speed for applications...
the 3D Now technology is playable for 3D applications and games....
i work on 3D Studio max by using this cpu and the processing power is excellent...
the whopping 200Mhz FSB is the blasty feature of the Duron series... that is useful for high tech applications like photo editing softwares, graphics work and entertainment applications....
All in all, ...

The Processor is very EASY to overclock; just be careful.
It is energy effecient and runs cool, unless you over clock

Great, fast, cheap
Review of Intel Core 2 Duo E4600 / 2.4 GHz processor by
mop591
Advantages: fast
Disadvantages: hard to think of one
This intel dual core processor with 2.4Ghz speed (total speed of 4.8Ghz) with a 2MB Cache can handle an awful lot of demanding programs runnning at once and for the amazingly low price its a very good processor. This processor is also compatable with 64 bit computing.
It has an LGA775 Socket which is compatable with most motherboards (up to you to check these things) if you are looking to upgrade or build your own pc. If you are looking to buy a ...
