I bought this a while ago for £160 even at that price it is a bargain and now you can get it £140 a no brainer in my opinion. An extremely powerful processor 2.4Ghz per core adding up to a total of 9.6Ghz. ...can confirm this using the Intel Processor Identification tool on their website. G0 means it runs cooler than the older B3 stepping but also is bound to overclock more. The bad news is that i's 2x the price of a Q6600 for only 266MHz more performance. As long as you can get yourself a G0 stepping Q6600 there doesn't seem a point in spending double on this Q6700, unless you want the 10x multiplier for something. ...overclocks even better than before. Intel knows what consumers want. Value for money. On my meagre rig ;) I managed to overclock the QX6950 to over 4.3Ghz on watercooling. Unfortunatly my motherboard cannot go anyhigher so for the time being im limited. Intel Pentium Dual Core E2160 / 1.8 GHz processor is helpful for those people who want to buy good processor but in cheapest rate. It is a stripped down low cost version of the Core 2 Duo. First of all INTEL ROCKS. I bought a pc with INTEL CORE 2 DUO E4500 2.2GHz processor. its so fast. i can play lot of games with this processor. I can say its better then AMD64.
