Smaller sturdy little beast
Advantages: Cheap and reliable Disadvantages: still a weight
...have only 3 of the Compaq V70 model. This is almost identical to the V75, just a little bit smaller. OK when you look at the thin LCD type monitors that are becoming more and more common, you might ask why are we still using these, and why will we probably continue to use these for a long time to come. Although my employers have probably not given this consideration in a previous review it was pointed out to me that Its interesting to note that ... ...small when compared to the Compaq P1210 it is still a fairly sizeable monitor. Yes it has it does have a flat square display. It is nearly as deep as it is wide. Although I am not one to give you a review stuffed full of technical bits, to get a better idea of the actual size I have included the following the following, the screen is 16 (corner to corner). The dimensions are approx 16 1/2 wide, 17 1/2 high and 17 1/2 deep. The weight comes in ...

Compaq V500 The beauty from Compaq
Advantages: Good quality, healthy Disadvantages: Exspencive, not verry pretty
Well, I used this monitor for 6 month, It is has good look, but the biggest advantage is quality for this product. This monitor have 100H frefreshrate and i like i very much. It has permision of Ecology energy and ergonomics emission picture on it. On front of it there is three buttons "+"; "-"; and menue button. It is very easy to use this menue. In menue there are default opptions like, Size, Geometry, Language, Degauss, Menagement, Factory Reset. ... ...then i would like. The design is not very pretty, so you must use to it. Monitor leg is not very sensitive and you must push hard to put monitor in good position for you. And on the end this is not Trinitron monitor but an ordinary cathod ray tube. I suggest to buy this monitor for person who needs work a lot of hours, because this monitor is healthy for eyes, res 1024x768 is on 85Hz ...

Compact Compaq CRT 17" Monitor
Advantages: Well designed, good quality case and screen Disadvantages: Its not a TFT
I received a Compaq 7500 monitor with my old Compaq PC about 3 years ago in 2002. INFO
The 7500 is a 17" CRT screen made by Compaq but made in China.
I don't think Compaq sell these any more but I have seen them on EBAY for about £35 and as little as £16.
DETAILS AND DESIGN
The monitor is all black in design with a silver frame surrounding the screen and the controls. Well really it's not silver but more like a brushed aluminium effect.
This ... ...16" viewable area.
It's shape and design are far better than a lot of newer monitors on the market today. The main back section of the monitor is not that big so you can easily fit the monitor on to the smaller sized office desks you get for home PC's. Rough sizes are 43 cm (H) x 41 cm (W) X 45 cm (D) I like this monitor for both its physical and aesthetic appearances. It just seems to fit in well on the desk even though it's a CRT. Even ...

Not the best price, but very good nonetheless
Advantages: Good picture quality; no flicker; good range of adjustments Disadvantages: Not the best resolution; expensive for the product
The Compaq S710 appears to be one of Compaq's cheaper offerings in the monitor market. At £175+VAT, however, it's not the cheapest 17" screen I've seen, far from it. However, the fact that I got given this screen free meant that it had to be my choice. I probably wouldn't have considered it otherwise, even though it is a good monitor, simply because of the fact that it doesn't go up to 1600x1200 resolution. It does, however, have an impressive viewable ... ...I've heard rumours that Compaq monitors are actually made by Iiyama, who are widely respected. The S710 is a standard curved-screen monitor; it can handle resolutions of up to 1280x1024. For a lot of people, this is more than enough; a lot of people I know run their 17" screens at 1024x768, which this monitor can handle at 85Hz. However, I run the screen at 1280x960 at 70Hz, because 1280x1024 requires a refresh rate of 60Hz, which I consider to be ...
