LG Flatron 795FT Plus

Advantages: Flat, 17', good looking colors
Disadvantages: Big

3 years ago i bought LG Flatron 795FT Plus. And i'm still don't need anything else. LCD quality and response time isn't very good now. Better buy good CRT than poor LCD for the same price. LG Flatron 795FT Plus is one of the best solutions choosing monitor. Some specifications: 17-inch, 100% flat, 0.24mm stripe pitch, USB HUB. Using USB HUB you can connect 4 USB devices more. It's very practical for usb mouse, keyboard, scanner, digital camera and ...

Exchange the old for the new

Advantages: Cheap, value for money, looks great
Disadvantages: its a bit big, a bit fiddly getting the creen adjustments right

...What a bargain. This LG Flatron 775FT is an inexpensive monitor but the image quality is as good as more expensive monitors. The screen is as flat as it gets to the extent it looks concave until you become accustomed to it. Much better than any curved screen in my opinion. My only complaint was the geometry was mis~ adjusted out of the box and it was very fiddly to get just right, but it is now excellent... recommended Rock on. ...

Studioworks 700s

Advantages: awesome
Disadvantages: size

...i have to say, the LG is so much better in any situation. a good quality CRT monitor. i currently use these monitors for studio based work, creating audio and editing and such, the depth on the LG is just nicer on the whole. Nowadays you can probably grab one of these for pennies, and if you have the space for a CRT, then i would reccomend one: especially for gaming. on my gfx card the resolution will go up to 1280x1024 and a refresh rate of up ...

LG Studioworks 77M

Advantages: Decent picture quality, affordable
Disadvantages: Heavy, large dimensions

...a 17” monitor, produced by LG Electronics. It was purchased by the IT Department about 2 years ago, for a user who was slightly short sighted and demanded a larger monitor on her desk! The unit was purchased for around £200, but as with most technology prices tend to come down so the monitor will probably be available for less than this price now. Specs This monitor will support resolutions from 640 x 480, up to 1280 x 1024. It will support up ...
...task! The LG 77M monitor is white in colour, with blue side panels. These panels are actually a blue woven material, so I would imagine that beneath these sit the speakers. The screen is FST, so while it is not totally flat, it is still flat enough to deflect most glare. In addition the screen is given a CDT coating which should ensure it is anti-glare, anti-reflection and anti-static. Well in theory anyway! In Use The monitor is plug and play ...

LG Flatron 915FT Plus - Very reliable Monitor

Advantages: Good picture quality, Very reliable monitor
Disadvantages: Bulky CRT compared to todays modern TFT displays

I've owned two of these now on my last 2 PC systems. Both times a 19" version and I've never had a problem with either. A great choice of displays up to 1600x1200 if your graphics card allows. Simple adjustment controls allow for quick easy changes to brightness, contrast etc. I can't really fault this monitor I've always been impressed with the display quality and I do particularly like a 19" screen as an avid game player. I would imagine, as ...
...could pick up a bargain. If there is a downside it is of course the size and weight of CRT type monitors which are now becoming rapidly replaced by the lightweight LCD TFT displays. But if you play games on your PC always remember that currently LCD TFT displays cannot currently match the maximum resolutions that CRT monitors can reach. LCD's can normally offer up to 1024 x 768 whilst as I have previously mentioned this can achieve 1600x1200. And ...
