I had asked if they could see any problems getting it replaced under warranty if I couldn`t find the receipt, and they didn`t think it would be a problem - after all, it was only manufactured 2 years ago, and date stamped.

They arranged to deliver a replacement monitor within 2 days, which was great, but when it arrived, the replacement is a lower specification, lower resolution, with lower refresh rates, and is not a suitable replacement for the monitor I had bought - my original monitor had a power point and internal links for speakers that hook on the side, and the one they have delivered doesn`t, so I am now stuck without sound until I find out what they`re going to do next. They *were* informed that I had the model with speakers in my emails and fax, but they send me a cheap model without the features I paid for originally...
