I have had this monitor just over a year and is still and clear and vibrant as the day it arrived.
Well protected inside the box with about 5m of bobble wrap around it, came with a protective cover that you have to peel off. Seems well build, stand is sturdy and the plastic doesn’t seem cheap at all.
Like many buyers that have bought a TFT are a bit nervous before turning on their monitor, no dead pixels at all, that’s a sign of a good TFT. Inbuilt speakers are surprisingly quite impressive but would only recommend using them is space is limited.
Colors are vibrant, blacks are black and whites are white. Very bright screen and packed full of features to get the most out of your monitor these include the normal H-positing and V-position but also have more advanced features like, color temperature, red gain, green gain and blue gain. there’s even a DOS mode option where you have to change if its in text or graphics.
Automatically configures itself the right display rotating itself is necessary and changing the H and V position. the monitor is flicker free and runs ok at 75HZ
However there are no drivers with the monitor so I thought it would be already in windows XP, I was wrong. without getting the drivers colors are limited to 16 and a display picture of 800X600, as you can guess it doesn’t look very good. you can download the drivers off the internet or wing CTX to send you one first class.
I would seriously recommend this monitor to someone that is looking for a cheap well made 15" TFT.
