...I never really thought too much about toasters. After all, they're a fixture in every kitchen, and their job is a simple one: to make toast. No, I never really thought about them.. until they started to break.
I had a nice Toastmaster for about 5 years. Then it just quit working. Period. Aha, I thought: Now I'll get a stylish one. I did, but it stopped working so soon that I've long since forgotten the brand name. So, I figured a toaster oven would do both jobs, but I was wrong again. (I mean, have you ever tried to pull toast out of a hot toaster oven with your bare hands?)
Two more 'cheapies,' with two more 'cheapie' results. One was particularly memorable for dropping to bread onto the element, setting off the smoke detector daily!
Then, I finally settled on a nice Cuisinart. It did everything right, and I loved it...
