A Great Media Centre PC Case
Review of Antec VERIS Fusion Black 430 - UK by jkjon

Advantages: Great looks, well built, quiet, good display unit, built in IR Receiver
Disadvantages: Limited display options

Having only used budget cases to build your typical bog standard PC's before I was initially a little nervous at spending over £100 on a case. However I needn't have worried as this is well worth the money. The case is quite heavy and feels very sturdy, it does look a little on the chunky side but this size allows you to use a full size drive and expansion cards, if you choose a slimline case you will be more limited with the components you can ...
...smart with a bright blue display and (very bright) blue ring around the power button. The display can be customised to a limited extent through the included software to show a range of information including various system information, time and date, email status, local weather and news and media information (if using Media Centre or Win Amp). The rather large but tactile knob only controls volume and works fine with my system. The front panel also ... Read review

Antec P182
Review of Antec Performance One P182 by fatnickccash

Advantages: Low noise, very good airflow + cooling, easier cable management, stylish
Disadvantages: High price, better airflow available

...do this - hardly convenient! Antec has managed to enable the odd layout to support more PSUs than the P180, and the cable routing options have been vastly improved, allowing for a cooler, and therefore faster or quieter, computer. Having said all of this, for maximum airflow (and price) other cases, such as the Antec Nine Hundred, provide a better option, with the disadvantage of more noise, worse looks and fewer of the little touches Antec have ... Case for the overclockers
Review of Antec Tower by Eazy_Rider

Advantages: Cool, looks good and is built well.
Disadvantages: Can be noisy, and is cramped inside.

With the Antec 900, you are looking at the best case for gamers who look to overclock their hardware. I bought this case from ebuyer.com for around £80, and have been impressed ever since. The case itself is quite large, and comes prefitted with two from 120mm fans with blue LEDS, one 120mm fan with blue LEDs at the back, and a huge 200mm fan that sits on the top and sucks warm air out of the case. These fans keep the inside of the case very cool, ...
...to change the speeds of the fans, low/medium/high. When turned to high the case keeps very very cool, but obviously it does begin to get noisy at that point. Running them on low is enough to keep it cool and the noise is kept to a minimum. The case also has a front panel in built in, containing two USB ports, one firewire port, headphone and mic port and the reset and power button. I found these to be very useful, especially having the firewire port ... Read review

Antec P180B PC Case
Review of Antec Performance One P180B by rickyshah

Advantages: Quiet, solid, good cooling
Disadvantages: Big, heavy, expensive

...but its also a custom Antec one that's 2 inches deep). In front of this is Hard drive area number one, which uses an innovative, though fiddly, cage system to mount the drives. The drives themselves are mounted on rubber grommets that really quieten them down. There is another HD cage above this, although it sadly is not actively cooled, unlike the one next to the PSU. Both hard drive cages mount the drives in a bonkers sideways fashion - why I'm ...
...I'm sure the people at Antec know what they are doing. I should mention that all the fans have very smart speed settings, they are not just "on or off", there is a selector switch on each fan to go "low" "medium" or "high". Unless you're running really hot components *cough* Pentium *cough* it's best to leave them as they are. Over the mainboard there is a giant bit of plastic, meant to cool the GPU. It's like an air duct. There is space to mount ... Read review
