Cooler Master Cosmos S - Review
Advantages: Everything Disadvantages: Nothing
...bag, and then again, inside Cooler Master's own fabric bag which is brown in colour and is strong enough to retain and use in the future whenever the case needs covering. It's the little extra's and attention to detail that makes a lot of difference in my opinion.
If first impression's are anything to go by, then this case ticks all the boxes. It's huge, beautiful and demands the attention of any passer by, whether they are interested in computers ... ...bag containing all of the necessary bits and pieces to assemble the case and control the cable management. The plastic bag contains; tie wraps, cable management fixings, screws of varying sizes, 3 1/2 inch fixings, and a motherboard speaker. There is a huge surplus of screws and fixings, so don't worry about running out!
To open the case (either side) there is a quick release latch on the top rear of the case that when pushed upwards releases the ...

CoolerMaster CM690 is the master!
Advantages: Cheap, well ventilated, screw-less design Disadvantages: None for me.
When upgrading my computer and installed the new parts in my old case, this proved to be a bit of a silly idea as the temperatures it was running at was too high.
Having largely spent out on the upgrade i wanted a fairly cheap case.
The CoolerMaster CM690 looked like it was to fit the bill perfectly, its was fairly cheap approx £55, it did NOT come with power supply, which for me wasn't a problem as I'd just bought a new CoolerMaster Real Power ... ...very good and feels light when empty. It also feels sturdy and well balanced on my desk and on carpet, although a carpet with too high a pile on it could interfere with the PSU exhaust and the mounting for another fan.
The front and top of the case is basically a big grille which obviously helps with letting the hot air escape.
Access is very easy, 2 thumb screws and you're in.
What helped me was my power supply as mentioned above was a modular ...

Very good for the price
Advantages: Well built Disadvantages: Sides and front audio abit flimsy and a little cheap
...power supply. I found this Cooler Master Elite case in a Newegg newsletter and without shipping this case couldn't have been much better of a deal. The case comes with a nice big 120 MM fan and you can add another one to the front of the case to cool your hard drives. There is an air vent that comes with the case that is useful to run air straight from your CPU heatsink/fan out of the case allowing the case itself to stay cool.
Cons: The case does ... ...When everything is setup together, though, the case is solid and perfect for normal desktop use. Someone who moves their computer case around constantly might want to consider something a little more sturdy. The Audio jacks also felt a little cheap, but not much of a con considering what I paid. ...

Roomy and Airy
Advantages: good air flow, large, tidy, easy fitting Disadvantages: its massive.
I was considering buying the antec 1200 case, when this coolermaster one caught my eye. I'm glad it did too because quite frankly, its awesome. The first thing to say is, it's HUGE, really really massive. But that's not a bad thing today, especially with the size of current graphics cards. 4 large internal fans provide plenty of airflow. The design of the case is superb. HDD's and optical drive slot into place with ease and without need for screws. ... ...the wire tidying abilities. both sides of the case come off and if you take the back off, you can hide the cables and keep them in place with cable tidies, keeping the main part of the case spacious, neat and well ventilated. I upgraded from a midi case and it was well worth doing. One thing that does disappoint is the red fans shown in the gallery are only examples. The front fan has red LED goodness, but the others will only have it if you buy ...

A great case for no money.
Advantages: Great looks, easy installation, nice features, low price. Disadvantages: Not made entirely out of aluminum.
The time finally arrived, when I was to build myself a brand new computer. Something I've always found very exciting, and therefore I decided to spend alot of time preparing and researching, so that I would be sure to buy the right components.
I was going for a high-end gaming PC, but with a low price in mind. Soon, I had selected all of the components, and it was time to decide which case I would install it in. To me looks were important.
I started ... ...decided that it was to much money. Then my eyes fell on this beauty.
Black. Silver. And with blue lights. Good quality build, and furthermore, it was cheap.
Sold!
And the case lived up to my expectations. It DID look great, and the feel of quality was undeniable. A nice finish and a good paint job. Sure, it isn't Lian Li, but I can't say that I have ever regretted going with this one instead. The installation was easy and pretty much tool-free. ...
