Advantages: makes connecting to live wireless Disadvantages: very high price
i bought this for £50 second hand, and i found it very easy to use and it connected to my modem in minutes, but i know not everyone connects it as easy as i did, infact i couldnt connect it to my old router when i first got an xbox 360, so then i went for the ethernet cable method which is ideal if the router is in the same room as the xbox 360 because its much cheaper, gauranteed to work and normally makes connection better, but in my case i had a 30m ethernet cable running down my stairs which is not ideal! therefore when i bought my xbox 360 back i wanted to get it sorted with the network adapter.
THINGS I LIKE ABOUT THE ADAPTER:
its a easy method of connecting up to xbox live if it will connect to the router
its small and as a nice slot at the back of the xbox 360
theres a light which is green if its working and red if its ...
Advantages: No wires, easy to use Disadvantages: Pricey

My xbox is in my bedroom, in my attic, under a beam, where you would imagine the signal would be low, but no, it was far from it, and worked great.
Its a brilliant product, which saves all the wires, the only downfall is the price, its really expensive. ...
Advantages: Does exactly what is required of it Disadvantages: too expensive
The xbox 360 wireless adapter is essentially, exactly what it says on the tine, it is only required as a neccesity to get onto xbox live in a place usin a wireless network, microsfot have seized on this opportunity to charge over the odds for a small piece of plastic , retailing in the region of £60 , especially when you consider the nintendo Wii has a wireless adapter built in. As a product, the adapter is easy to install, clipping onto the back of the console, reliable and discreet, offering flawless online gameplay as if it were connected via ethernet cable. The only downside to this is the price and i for one feel it should be included in the console package to fully compete with other consoles ...
