Advantages: Small, cheap, does what it says on the box Disadvantages: none
I had to transfer some old VHS into DVD for convenience so I did browse the internet looking for something really good yet easy to use and most important not expensive.
I found a lot of very good reviews about this product, so I decided to give it a go and bought one, well I have to say that it works beautifully, the manual is very clear, the installation was a breeze, the software bundled is very useful and whilst I'm writing the device is currently helping me to transfer my 10th tape and counting...
The video output is surprisingly good in particular using the composite input, I checked with "graphedit" the directshow codecs used and they are the one provided by the bundled software, however because the device is a WDM compliant device you can use any capture software that will convert to MPEG2 with better codecs, again this is just ...
Now iv not done a review on USBcables before, really its just never hit me that I could actually write about these and there’s also the fact that there’s not really much you can say about a cable, but ill give it a go.

The other end is which goes into your printer, and don’t worry as nearly every printer made has this kind of end so it will definitely fit, and this end is kind of square in shape and is known as the type B end.
It transfers data to your computer at speeds of up to 480 mbps, that’s megabytes a second which is really fast and is about 40 times faster than USB 1.1 cables.
The cable its self is 1.8 m ...
Advantages: gives you an extra 1.8 meters on any USB product Disadvantages: none
that could connect my headset to the computer and let me use it, and this is what I did.
I trudged down to my local PC world and paid a little money for a 1.8 meter Belkin Pro Series USB Extension Cable and was very very happy with it when I got home. It is very well made with a nice thick rubber protective rapping over the wire inside so unless you cut it with a knife its not goingto be damaged if you full on it a little or even a allot. It supports all standard USB ports with its well made male plug (the bit that goes into the computer) and on the other end of the cable has a nice thick female port (the bit that you will stick your USB device in) I have had no problems with this cable at all, it doesn't suffer from any lag and because it has a thick cable it doesn't snap or damage if you catch it with you feet while its laying ...
