"A gooey treat!"

Today whilst shopping I noticed that my local supermarket was still selling these despite it being so long since Easter. I couldn't resist but buying one seeing as they are only available for a limited time (Although now it seems that limited time is actually 6 months of the year!)

Cadbury's make lots of different kinds of chocolate and are a very well known and established brand in the UK. they make Cadbury's Caramel, Cadbury's Dairy Milk, Cadbury's hot chocolate as well as many, many others.

The Cadbury's Creme egg is an Easter novelty. It is a chocolate egg full of a fondent gooey middle. The egg is a similar size to a chicken's egg and the chocolate is quite thick, thick enough for it to be rather sturdy so if you drop it it doesn't tend to crack. The inside is like icing, it's all runny and gooey. It is white with the middle being yellow so it resembles an egg!

Probably the most difficult chocolate to eat on the market this creme egg is branded with the saying "How do you eat yours?" which does reflect just how difficult it is to eat! Some people just bite in and eat it within a few mouthfulls, others bite the top off and suck out the middle and some even use a spoon! However you eat yours you can be sure that you will get messy!

I really like this chocolate as it does feel like a really sweet treat andd it certainly does sort out any chocolate craving that you may have! It is very rich and after eating one I am usually content unlike with other chocolate where I could still have another, I think one creme egg is usually enough!

They are wrapped in foil which is easy to peel away. It is red, yellow and purple so it is bright and certainly stands out!

They are usually only available around Easter and can be bought individually or in packets of 3 or 6 or even 12! There are also Creme egg easter eggs about and mini packets of them too! They vary in price but cost around 50p each which seems very expensive now, I remember when I used to buy 5 for £1!
