Unlike the traditional creme egg from Cadburys, this egg is firstly WHITE chocolate as you can probably imagine and it DOES NOT have the 'oakey' white and orange creme filling, instead the egg has soft milky white chocolate which isn't melted but is soft (If you can picture that) It is soo scrummy but very sickly as you can probably imagine! If you think creme eggs are sickly, you'll definitely think these are!!! If you love white chocolate like myself, you will love this egg, TRUST ME!
Cadburys have also extended their 'Dream White Chocolate' range so this Easter we can buy BIG White chocolate 'Dream' easter eggs and you can also buy bars of 'Dream' chocolate in most shops!
I think the name of this new Cadburys chocolate egg sums up the egg as a whole, 'DREAM'
ADVANTAGES OF THE DREAM EGG TO THE CREME EGG
1. A much better egg for all the white chocolate lovers out there 2. Very Creamy and v.v.v. filling 3. Less messier than the creme egg!
DISADVANTAGES OF THE DREAM EGG TO THE CREME EGG
1. Its v.v.v. sickly 2. Ruins the tradition of the adburys creme egg maybe!?

I have kind of sickened myself with chocolate eggs (apart from Mini Eggs), but I decided to give the Cadbury’s Dream a try as it was something different from the usual Crème Eggs (I hate these now) and Rolo Eggs, etc. I don’t eat white chocolate very often as I tend to prefer milk chocolate, but it does make a nice change.

As with all eggs, this one comes in a foil wrapper, which is dark blue, it gets ... ...across the cream part, you will see the word “Cadbury’s”, below this it says “Dream”, and then below this it says “creamy white chocolate egg”. Nothing really adventurous about the packaging, but then it is only an egg therefore space is limited.

I have always been a big fan of white chocolate so when Cadburys brought out "Dream" bars, I was quite pleased because it was a more pleasant alternative to Milkybars. Although I do enjoy bars of "Dream", being just bars of normal white chocolate they are rather boring and lack "excitement".
When I discovered “Dream Eggs” I thought - sounds interesting I'll try one - pure white chocolate heaven. With a thick creamy coating of rich white ... ...in the middle - it’s absolutely gorgeous! If you like white chocolate you'll love these! I am now completely hooked but they are rather small for the money (average prince around 38p) but one egg is enough as they can become quite sickly. But unlike Cadburys Cream eggs they are not messy and the filling inside the egg is not runny. The egg easily will break in half and wont get you covered in sticky goo! If love white choccie - you'll love ...

As a white chocolate lover I was really excited when I saw the new Cadbury's Dream White Chocolate easter egg. And I am pleased to say that I wasn't dissapointed!
The egg is a fairly luxurious egg, similar to some of those that you may find at thorntons. It consists of a thick white chocolate outside with a rich, creamy, white chocolate tasting inside, which is hard to describe. It is a bit like the inside of a truffle, but in the shape of an egg!
... ...that it will easily break into two so that you can share it with a friend. However, once you have tried its rich, chocolatey taste I doubt you will be wanting to share it!
The egg is the same size as cadbury's creme eggs and is also around the same price (35p each or less, depending on whether you buy them seperately or in a multibox). The packaging is quite distinctive as it follows the Cadburys Dream theme.

...you would eggspect (sorry) from Cadbury - lovely.
For white chocolate lovers these Dream Eggs are a must. Although I think as a milk chocolate fan one at a time would be my limit (more than one could be a bit sickly). My partner, however, can't get enough of them (I need to hide surplus stock in my 'safe' cupboard).
For the actual size of the egg they do seem a bit pricey (around the 40p mark) but if you shop around you can find some multi purchase ...

Its a new year.... Its a new egg! But is life on the showbiz world all its egged up to be?
I do not think Cadburys have got a winner here. I love the Dream bar and am a self-confessed chocoholic. But this definetly didnt tingle my tastebuds like the original could. The original was sweet and loving chocolately. The usurper, the Dream egg, had a lot to live up to. I think that the Dream egg is far to sweet for me, as the chocolate is not as powerful ... ...probably be a great success, but older tastes will not find this anywhere near as appealing.
For its size and the time it takes to scoff one of these eggs, they are quite expensive. Maybe this is because its easter and we just do not care anymore! My advice to all you cream egg lovers is to stick to the original, you just cannot beat experience! ...

But which Kit Kat should I choose? A milk chocolate one? A dark chocolate one? Or a whitechocolate one?
Recently I have been eating way too many Kit Kat Senses Bars because they really are something else - but that's another story.
From time to time I get a multipack of normal Kit Kats. I like milk chocolate Kit Kats so I decided to try the dark chocolate ones but am not really into dark chocolate so didn't really enjoy them. Thye next time I went shopping I bought some whitechocolate ones and they were excellent. I liked them so much I have started buying them a lot.
WHY DO I LIKE THEM ?
Whitechocolate tastes great - the creamy inside of a Kinder Egg, a Milky Bar and a CadburyDream Bar are all enjoyable to eat. The whitechocolate that covers the Kit Kat is just as tasty and goes well ...

I much prefer the Cadbury's DreamEggs, creamy whitechocolate shell with a soft truffle whitechocolate centre - it's just a shame about the fat content.

with ridges running down it and you're about there... The top half of the upside-down plant pot contains the 'whipped cream flavour mousse' and the lower half contians the 'cocoa nib truffle centre'. At about 3cm tall they're just a bit too big to eat in one bite, but you won't get more than 2 or 3 bites out of each one.
On biting the top off the chocolate it tastes very creamy, however I personally wouldn't describe the contents as a mousse - if you've tried Cadbury's Snow Bites, or the Dreameggs, then it's not dissimilar to the centre of those - kind of a whitechocolate truffle, but surrounded by milk chocolate. There are approximately two bites worth of the white part before you hit the 'cocoa nib truffle' at the bottom half. Personally I didn't have a clue what a cocoa 'nib' was, and I guess I still don't, but I think it's crunchy bits ...
