Ok, my last op was no fun and rather yukky so I'm redressing the balance right now by having a little reminisce and rave about one of my favourite pastimes...
Are you paying attention DEANO...Coo eee! chocolate!

Yeaaahhhhh!!!!(coo...me mouths gone all slobbery and drooley just thinking about 'em!)

Big Drum roll now...

Enter: Cadbury's Chocolate Flake.

INTRO:

The very earliest advert that I can really remember well for these, was in my teens.
It would be a summer's day.
She was in a corn field,I think,-knee deep in the peace and quiet dreamy countryside...(how come I always manage to find the deepest cow pat to trip into when I'm there!) her curly blonde hair was piled up into a sort of loose 50's style bun,and she wore a smock,(something we'd laugh at now) but professionally befitting her favourite pastime...
Art.

TASTE SMELL...
Wonderfully addictive aroma, with a heady velvety fragrance...coco taste and a rich aroma hits you as you open tose slithers of delight..a silky brown milky essence; sweet without a bitter after taste...
OOh where was I? Oh yes..the advert-

Isn't cadbury's eating an art form??!
She'd have her brushes, easel and paints at the ready-but somehow you never got to see any of her work, only her mouth and her eyes and ears would be closed to anything but the sensations she was experiencing.A luxurious heaven, and she'd just be enjoying herself far too much ....
Ooerr..! that inviting, rustling yellow undeniably sexy cadbury's wrapper,(the minutes the hours the days could fly by world war 3 could happen but she wouldn't notice it..as she'd mouth her way round those lush flakes spilling out of those lips like no ones' business!
"It isn't fair!" I'd cry to the screen;"why can't you give me some!"
"yer fat enough!" would come my older brother's cheeky reply, and my shoes, first one then the other would just whizz past his ear, whilst he would be snuggling up to his current girlfriend- all over each other on the sofa, and springing apart each time dad or mum would walk in...yuk!
(Boys!Honestly!)

My brother David,(nearly 19 at the time)would always buy his annoying little 12 and a half year old sister one (or maybe two!) in the end though!
Well, that's what older brothers are for -aren't they?( I would give anything to have him alive with us still, now.)
Anyways,(and digressing far too much again!)
You can buy a cadbury Flake at any sweet shop, newsagents, supermarket,or self respecting petrol station,up and down the country.
My children bless them, love having one after school, with a glass of milk, and I usually end up getting the 4 Bars pack at Asda's.
This pack weighs 128g.and the only drawback to them is they tend to break easily-especially if squashed in the boot of a car next to the canned beans and the rock-frozen burgers!!

You can always tell the wrapper,as it's Bright yellow, with the famous Cadbury's logo,in velvet-purple. Underneath the title are the words; "The crumbliest flakiest milk chocolate."just like the old advert used to sing..

(To open this WITHOUT loosing or dropping a speck, would always be an advent-and a supreme victory,'cos I dunno what glue they use to seal the edges together, but whatever it is,could surely keep all the wigs, theatre costume moustaches and toupee manufacturers in successful work for many decades to come!)
With H.M.The queens' seal of approval stamped on the back wrapper, you know it's not gonna be cheap, but it's not gonna be trash either!
We are reminded to throw the empty wrapper in the bin,and keep britain tidy,by a small recycling Arrow, and a brown sketch of a man placing the empty in a wate basket.

Also on the back wrapper is a list of Nutritional Info:

Energy KJ per finger:755 per 100g: 2220
Kcal. " 180 " " 530

Protein g. 2.8 " " 8.1
Carbohydrate g. " 18.9 " " 55.7
Fat g. " 10.4 " " 30.7

Unfortunately,no good for diabetics.

Flake is very versatile; you can sprinkle it on cakes,in biscuits,Easter bunnies,or in cappuchino's.
You can melt it in a pan,you can smother yourself-careful chris!!or you can enjoy sprinkled with cream, gatueus, trifle toppings, hot chocolates, sauces, pancakes, even on Bananas splits.

The Cadbury's quality is Guaranteed,or as always,a re-imbursement assured.
You can return it to the Concumer services Manager, stating where and when it was bought if not completely satisfied.
The Address is:
Cadbury Limited,
P.O.Box 7010,
Bourneville,
Birmingham.
B30 2PZ U.K.

OR Free phone Tele: 0800 818181.

Website address: w.w.w.cadbury.co.uk

For further Advice, comments or queries about anything, the customer services will always do their best, and are very helpful and friendly.Any re-imbursement is always of greater value, including a nice letter of apology, which I have discovered personally.

THE PRICE?
For my 4 pck. costs 98p from Asda.
FOR A 10 PACK costs £1.48.That's less than 14.8p per one! You can't say fairer that that!

Now,where was I?
Oh yes...

A corn field...knee deep...and an artist in raptures.
.."only the flakiest, crumbliest chocolate..tastes like chocolate never tasted before!"......
