Milk Tray? Milk Tat more like!

Advantages: cheap...
Disadvantages: ...it shows

Oh you remember the adverts, how could you not? The man always dressed in a dinner jacket skiing over perilous pistes and swimming through shark infested waters and almost coming a cropper with a laser between the legs (or was that James Bond?). Anyway it seemed nothing would stop this man from delivering his precious cargo. And what, pray tell, was this precious cargo? Was it a human heart being rushed for transplant? The nuclear launch codes? What ...
...just any old chocolate but Cadbury’s Milk Tray! And why did he go to such lengths to deliver a box of Milk Tray? Because the lady loved them. Or so we were told because he never stuck around long enough to see her enjoy them.

But I digress. Christmas has been and the goose that we plumped up nicely has made us fat, so as we struggle to both literally and metaphorically tighten our belts there will be no more pennies for the old man’s ... more

...good size. The logo of Cadbury is visibly seen for those who are loyal to the company and the Milk Tray lettering is clear, stylish and centred bang in the middle. The pack has been updated and changed over the years and also the assorted flavours as well. The box has a unique way of opening it, with a flap on the side which unravels the goodness and exquisite smell. The information on the box is simple and is only visible on the back to keep it ...

There is not too much on it as I know this can be bombarding sometimes. ~ The Chocolates ~ Inside the box are two trays with 20 chocolates which therefore equals to 40 in a box. . The poly-wrapped carton board box has easy access and is effective. There is a ...

Tasty BUT NOT as satisfying as chocolate bodypaint

Advantages: Taste fantastic
Disadvantages: They disappear far too quickly

...off to check. John Cadbury opened his first store in 1824 and by 1831 had changed from being a grocers shop to a manufacturer of drinking chocolate and cocoa. This began the world of Cadburys, as we know it today. ** The history of Milk Tray ** Milk Tray was launched in 1915 and today sells over 8 million packs per annum. The Cadbury website announces that Milk Tray "is the most popular personal gift assortment in the market" and is a well known ...
...until present day 2000 when Cadbury decided to give the whole lot a make over and bring it all up to date and modernise the advert. Now the new phrase, which accompanies Milk Tray is "Now with extra mmm and ahh!" ** So what's in the box ** As eager as ever, I open the box to find two layers of chocolates, actually I sat and counted them and there are 48 in total (well with an office full of people, I wouldn't want any of them to go astray) with ...

Stereotypical Chocolate

Advantages: Tastes Good
Disadvantages: Not much in the way of selection

...purple you have the typical Cadbury logo written in white. Directly underneath that are the letters 'MT' written in the same silvery colour that is on the box. Inside the box are two quite solid plastic trays, one place on top of the other. ---------------------------- WHAT'S INSIDE? ---------------------------- Inside the box is a selection of 12 various chocolates made by the famous Cadbury Company. The list can be found inside the top of the ...
...is a let down to Cadbury with regards to the regular nut bars they do which I find are packed. However the quality in the product is there and my product rating for this is a 7/10. SOFT WHISPER A smooth hazelnut praline. I find this slightly on the rich side for Cadburys milk chocolate. It tastes more like dark than milk but not that rich. There is no crunchiness from the hazelnut but you can still clearly taste it. My product rating is a 6/10. ...

How to score this Valentine's Day

Advantages: lovely Cadbury's chocolate
Disadvantages: no Milk Tray man with my box!

Ooh, you mucky minded lot! Put such terrible thoughts out of your head right now – I don’t mean it like *that*!! :o) Ah, yes – Valentine’s Day is nearly upon us again, and I thought I’d post an opinion on an appropriate product – chocolate, of course – along with a few hints for the day. ¤•¤ INTRODUCTION FOR MEN ¤•¤ The way to a woman’s heart is through her ribcage (although her left ...
...boob if she’s well endowed and lying on her side. Ahem). Less messy, and far more likely to put you in her good books, is with the time-honoured tradition of chocolate. Unless she’s diabetic. Or on a diet… Still, there’s bound to be at least one woman out there somewhere who would appreciate chocolate this Valentine’s day, so let me provide you with an overview of perhaps the most clichéd – I mean traditional – ...

Review of Cadbury Milk Tray

Because the ladies love em.

Advantages: Taste great, Great gift idea.
Disadvantages: Full of calories, Dont last long

Everyone knows that I am a big fan of cadbury's chocolate and a very kind person gave me a box of cadburys milk tray chocolates. I knew that they wouldn't last very long once I'd opened them and I was right. I tried to leave them as long as I could on the table unopened, but everytime I walked past they seemed to be calling me to open them. So, I did and the top layer was gone in five minutes.(I did give the turkish delight one to my mum, so at least ...
...purple with a large silvery/grey M on the front which is shaped like a heart. Milk Tray is written in the bottom right hand corner. The back of the box contains all the nutritional information. The box I was given contains 227g and each 100g contains 495 calories. I didn't really want to know this now as I have just eaten the whole top layer. The box contains 2 layers of milk chocolates in plastic trays. (I wonder if this has anything to do with ...

Silk Collection or Nutty Collection

Advantages: Elegantly designed box, The name
Disadvantages: Too many nut flavours, very similar to other brands, slightly more expensive than others

to that of Cadbury's Milk Tray, especially in the writing style. Unfortunately this is where the similarity ends. I will not go into the collection on an individual basis i.e. I am not going to write down each and every flavour/variety here, but rather will tackle the flavours in a more broader aspect. First of all Galaxy Silk Collection is available in two box sizes. One is the 200gms box and the other is the 400gms box. The 200gms box consists of one layer of and the 400gms has two layers. You get a total of 20 chocolates per layer i.e. 20 pieces in the 200gms and 40 pieces in the 400gms box. Out of these 20 chocolates almost 75% are made up of chocolates that contain various types of nuts. The rest consist of caramel and solid chocolate. Unfortunately there are no fruit flavoured options, which appears to tbe be case even ...

24 Karat Gold

Advantages: Great selection with a few fruity flavours, high quality and packaging, great for gifts for all occasions
Disadvantages: None unless your a diabetic or on a diet

be a very impressive selection of chocolates with a perfect balance. I founds these much better than Rose's and slightly better than Cadbury's Milk Tray. The fact that they are also owned by Kraft General Foods helps a great deal as you can be quite confident that the quality is maintained. I would seriously consider buying these to give away as gifts when the need arises and would recommend likewise. ...

Galaxy is Unbelievably Yummy

Advantages: So Tasty Easily Found Good Value
Disadvantages: A Bit Addictive

might even beconsidered as a criminal-tooth murdererer.." Why then does silly me nibble.munch and sometimes feverously fevour bars of Galaxy. Mind you I am not alone. Recently my eldest daughter made a trip to Norwich and Nottingham and was given strict instructions to bring back from UK, Walker?s Crisps, Mars bars and at least four bars of Galaxy.Being the kind and obedient daughter she is,she duly obliged. I devoured my bar watching the World Cup on TV and knew that two bars were left, when I went to bed, in the side department of the fridge. Around 2.30 am I wokeup with hunger pains and found someone else in the household had ?pinched? the Galaxy bars. There is plenty of choice in the choccy market. There are chocolate bars from Cadbury like Milk Tray,Boost and Flake, Nestle Rowntrees Yorki, Kit Kat and Aero, Fry?s Turkish Delight, as ...
