Christmas has passed and before we can blink the Easter confectionary has hit the shops. One of my favourite Easter treats has to be Cadbury's mini eggs, these little speckled delights were... more

Mini eggs are associated with Easter but personally I could eat them all year round. However I suppose that would wear off the novelty of them. Mini eggs are ‘solid milk chocolate eggs in a crisp sugar shell’ PRICE ~ The bag I have is 100g costing 79p. I think this is a bit expensive so I tend to buy them in offers, which often means I eat more of them than I should. I always say I’ll share them but I never do! The 200g bag costs £1.59 however in Woolworth’s this year there were some bags that contained 15% extra free meaning you got 230g for £1.59. You could then buy two of these 200g/230g ... more

Another day and another Cadbury review from me, and with Easter fast approaching there is a plethora of chocolate treats in the shops all vying for our attention and our hard earned cash. Now a real favourite of mine is Cadbury Mini Eggs, lovely little treats that should be available year round, I despair when they disappear after the Easter festivities. Surely something so delicious and tasty could just be renamed according to the time of year and keep addicts like me happy. Anyway, while I can buy them I am doing my utmost to try them at every opportunity so it was with a kind of ... more

Whilst I used to think Easter was all about Creme Eggs (and Jesus of course) I have slowly over the course of the years became much more fond of the crunchy eggs rather than the creamy eggs, that is right - Cadbury Mini Eggs have became my new favourite. With store after store putting easter eggs on special prices already, probably in hope that people will take them home and eat them straight away, meaning they have to buy more, my mum was sucked into these offers and asked what easter eggs myself and my brothers would want this Easter. She then popped down Tesco, picked them up and their ... more

This is a rather belated review of Cadbury Mini Eggs , which has come about after a shop at Asda this week . Normally the Cadbury mini eggs , in a 100g bag , retail at around 75p . They appear in the shops at Easter , but I have seen them in shops anytime between December and just after Easter . So these stragglers were the remmnants of Easter stock which obviously still needs selling . Now they are not sub-standard or out of date so don't think that . The bag or should I say bags I bought this week have a date of July 2007 . They had been reduced to 42p , but were reduced again , this time to ... more

Ahhh after a hard week, going to the gym twice this week, and now with my stomach in an aching sort of agony, and becoming harder - Wahoo, I decide to fork out 84p for a 100g bag of mini eggs - delicious! If any of you are on diets out there, I advise you to read no further. But for the rest of you, enjoy! *The history of mini eggs* Well, for most of you out there, you know the general history of Cadbury's chocolate and Food Company. The first ever Cadbury eater eggs were produced in the year 1924 and by the year 1967, the mini egg confectionary was produced. *What are mini eggs?* So what are ... more
