“Yum yum yum in my tum”

Yummy

Not many for your money

Mini eggs are associated with Easter but personally I could eat them all year round. However I suppose that would wear off the novelty of them. Mini eggs are ‘solid milk chocolate eggs in a crisp sugar shell’ PRICE ~ The bag I have is 100g costing 79p. I think this is a bit expensive so I tend to...

“Once a Year”

Cadbury chocolate at its best

Not for healthy eating

Whilst I used to think Easter was all about Creme Eggs (and Jesus of course) I have slowly over the course of the years became much more fond of the crunchy eggs rather than the creamy eggs, that is right - Cadbury Mini Eggs have became my new favourite. With store after store putting easter eggs...

When Mr Cadburys Parrot Goes Berserk……..

……….A Geezer Just Can’t Get On With His Work!

Another day and another Cadbury review from me, and with Easter fast approaching there is a plethora of chocolate treats in the shops all vying for our attention and our hard earned cash. Now a real favourite of mine is Cadbury Mini Eggs, lovely little treats that should be available year round...

Stingy offerings

Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way, oh what fun...." There I am, happily singing along, laden down with present, festive decorations everywhere, listening to the sounds of the Salvation Army playing. Hurrah! It was Crimbo and I was in Woolies picking up that last roll of wrapping...

Delicious

Not available all year

When I look at the confectionery market today I cannot help but notice how different it is from when I was a child. I mean look at the changes, the innovations (Nuts in a Double Decker! Fruity Smarties! Giant Quality Street! Mars Biscuits!), the re-brandings. In particular Cadbury's have made...

Addictive

Not available all year, having to share

As I have grown older I have found myself moving more and more away from the chocolate and sweets cravings I had as a child and fitting nicely into the 'savoury' section. I'm not sure if this happens to everyone, and infact I am almost certain you are a 'sweet of savoury' person in the same way...

“All treats in moderation!”

published 29/07/2009

Great in moderation

Too much sugar is a bad thing!

There are some treats that although seasonal, can be enjoyed all year around. Cadburys mini eggs are one such treat! Cadburys make a huge range of chocolate treats and the mini eggs have now become a year round treat, their bright yellow packaging is inviting, child friendly and clearly marked...

Packaging is not recyclable.

Cadburys Mini Eggs always make me think of Easter and remind me that I need to start buying eggs for my ever increasing family! Mini Eggs are eggs of Cadburys milk chocolate covered in a crisp, candy shell which cracks deliciously in your mouth when you bite in to these less than 1cm yummy...

Limited time to buy

This is a rather belated review of Cadbury Mini Eggs , which has come about after a shop at Asda this week . Normally the Cadbury mini eggs , in a 100g bag , retail at around 75p . They appear in the shops at Easter , but I have seen them in shops anytime between December and just after Easter...

not any except the calorie count

Ahhh after a hard week, going to the gym twice this week, and now with my stomach in an aching sort of agony, and becoming harder - Wahoo, I decide to fork out 84p for a 100g bag of mini eggs - delicious! If any of you are on diets out there, I advise you to read no further. But for the rest of...

“Egg-sceptional!”

published 11/03/2007

delicious, addictive

not very many in the packet

Firstly, let me apologise for the poor, and probably overused pun in the title. Secondly, I'm not entirely sure why I'm reviewing Cadbury Mini Eggs, since everyone has probably tasted them at some point in their lives, but there we go. **What are they?** Cadbury Mini Eggs are, well, just that...

***MINI EGGS*** Mini Eggs by Cadbury were first introduced in 1967 and were sold for the Christmas and Easter seasons. When mini eggs were first introduced they came in a purple packet. Mini eggs are a solid chocolate egg coated in a thin, hard candy shell in a range of different colours...

“A moreish chocolate egg!”

published 09/04/2012

sweet, chocolatey, fairly inexpensive

can become sickly if you eat too many!

As it's Easter, I thought I would review one of my favourite treats to have at easter time, which is Mini Eggs. These have been around for almost as long as I can remember and are mainly released during Easter time, though in some stores they are also known to come out at Christmas time and some...

Too easy to eat too many!

“Yes, your Honour, I confess, it was me, I did it” “So, young fella-me-lad, just exactly what did you think you were up to?” “Ummm, I’m a woman, Sir” “Ah! Well, I still need an explanation” “It was 4.30am on a Tuesday morning, I awoke suddenly, I had a desperate urge, I wasn’t thinking, I went...

Chunky, very moreish

Quite addictive

We've barely got Christmas out the way and yet the shops are already stocking up on Easter eggs! It's madness given that Easter is still almost two months away. The whole business of getting Easter eggs on the shelves seems to start earlier and earlier every year! Whilst browsing the seasonal...
