As you have probably guessed from some of the previous ops that I have written, I LOVE eating chocolate. There aren’t many chocolates that I don’t like. I especially like Cadburys chocolate. I am at the moment working my way through a huge tub of miniature heroes that I have left from christmas.
Cadburys mini heroes are a selection of cadburys most popular chocolate bars which as the name tells you are miniature bite size bars. Each mini bar is individually wrapped in a miniature version of the original wrapper, with the name of the chocolate bar on the side. Miniature Heroes come in various sized tubs. The smaller ones are purple cardboard tubs with a plastic lid and the larger ones are the same design but they are in tins. The tin I have contains 900g of chocolates (including wrappers.) The front of the packaging shows a picture of each of the chocolates included in the tub. You can buy them in most supermarkets as well a alot of other places.
There are 9 different chocolates included in boxes of miniature heroes, these are
~Time Out ~ These are one of my favourites. They are like a Twirl between two pieces of wafer and covered in milk chocolate. Time out’s have a navy blue wrapper with red writing and a big red clock face on the front.
~Crunchy bite ~ Crunchy honeycomb covered in milk chocolate. This wrapper is gold with big red letters. for some reason I dont think this mini version tastes as good as the bigger crunchy bars.
~Dairy Milk ~Two chunks of solid milk chocolate. The wrapper is navy blue and white. Mmmm lovely.
~Nuts about Caramel ~ Hazel nut surrounded by caramel and covered in milk chocolate. The wrapper is similar to the normal Caramel but with red bits around the edge.
~Dream ~I think these are new to the miniature heroes selection. They are a chunk of solid white creamy chocolate.
~Picnic ~Wafer, nuts and raisins covered in milk chocolate. The wrapper is red with orange ends. These always get left until last in our house, but I don’t mind because I eat them anyway.
~Twirl ~These are definately my favourite. They are just like a Cadbury’s Flake covered in milk chocolate. It’s wrapping is navy blue with yellow words. I always eat these ones first.
~Caramel ~ Soft caramel centre covered in milk chocolate. This comes in a gold wrapper with blue writing on it.
~Fudge ~These are my least favourite chocolate in this selection. Fudge covered in milk chocolate. The wrapper is orange with blue writing. But if they are the only ones left I will still eat them.
The back of the tub is where you will find all the nutritional information. It tells you that Per 100g there are: 500 calories 5.4 grams of protein 59.5 grams of carbohydrate 26.5 grams of fat It also states that all of the sweets contain traces of nuts, so if you have an allergy to nuts you should avoid eating miniature heroes.
The following address is given on the box for you to contact cadburys if there is a problem. Cadburys Limited PO box 7009 Bourneville Birmingham B30 2PX
