"Heroes of chocolates"

Miniature heroes are basically a selection box in miniature, hence the name.

Miniature heroes consists of small bite size Cadbury’s favourites - Cadbury Dairy Milk, Cadbury Dairy Milk with Caramel, Cadbury Dairy Milk Whole Nut, Twirl, Time Out, Dream, Fudge, Crunchie, Picnic, Nuts About Caramel.

Cadbury Heroes first appeared in September 1999 with the “People Magnet” campaign that features famous heroes being attracted to the tub.

I prefer these to other boxes of chocolates, simply because most people already know what they're getting, and there's a good selection of top favourites.

Dairy Milk - the original, and in my opinion, best solid chocolate bar. It's creamy, melt in the mouth chocolate still tastes the best to me.

Whole Nut - As above, with the addition of whole nuts (as title suggests) for a bit of variety.

Dairy Milk with caramel - This was originally called Cadbury's Caramel, until their recent reshuffling and remarketing of the Dairy Milk varieties, when it's name mysteriously changed. This is another chocolate, as the name suggests, dairy milk, with a caramel centre.

Nuts about caramel - This isn't exactly rocket science, as above with the addition of nuts.

Fudge - a personal favourite. Creamy vanilla fudge covered in milk chocolate that just melts in the mouth.

Dream - a recent addition to the Miniature Heroes family - it's basically a while chocolate version of the Dairy Milk. I don't like white chocolate, so haven't yet tried this.

Time out - It's like a twirl encased in wafer, then covered in milk chocolate.

Twirl - similar to a Cadbury Flake, only encased in chocolate.

Crunchie - Another favourite. Honeycomb encased in milk chocolate.

Picnic - One of my least favourites as contains raisins.

As detailed above, there is a wide variety of chocolates in this box, and there's bound to be one to suit everyone's tastes. Plus, the Cadbury name is reassuring, being one of the top chocolate manufacturers.

These are available in various sizes from most retailers. A small box starts around 3.00
