The Cahoot current account offers an overdraft level of £500, which is far greater than many high street banks. The first £250 of this is interest free aswell. The bankcard allows withdrawals at any Visa accepting machine- which is virtually all of them! You can easily access your account via the internet on a well organised, easy to use site. The only drawback is that you can not physically go into a branch- any communication must be entered into online or on the phone. Paying inis dependant upon other banks or the post office, due to this same reason. However, I felt sceptical at first about banking online, but now I have found that it is far preferable to using my high-street account. Cahoot offer very good interest rates, and you will find their customer service advisors more than helpful.

Sorry for the rate - I'll be the first to give you a little advice on how to improve. People look for actual interest rates, how you pay in your money, what the website looks like, how easy is it to use, are theirany problems on the website, and so on. if you added more info you would get a higher rate - at least from me. If you ad more let me know and I'll gladly re-rate. Cheers Marc
Advantages: Good interest rate, basic banking service, webcard, text messages about debits/withdrawals Disadvantages: No link to MS Money or Quicken, a bit slow, menus a bit confusing
