Review about Casio FX 83 ES
Review of Casio FX 83 ES by dmoorcroft

Advantages: Lightweight, easy to use, long battery life
Disadvantages: So easy to use you wont want to stop using it!

I have been using this product for a long time now and I have to say that it has never let me down! It is a stylish piece of equipment with great ergonomics and a very easy to read display. I have to highly recommend this product for any students undertaking their GCSEs or higher - it is a scientific calculator so is ideal for courses such as A level chemistry. The only downside to this calculator is that its so easy to use that you're mental ... Read review

Review of Casio FC 100 V by marria-x

Advantages: Good qualtiy, good performance
Disadvantages: Expensive

...sue their solar cell. The Casio has plastic keys and is also of an appropriate weight and size so that it is convenient to sue as well as being useful. It makes many financial aspects of jobs less complicated so i would recommend it to anyone thinking of buying it. It is expensive but worht it in the long run. ... Read review

Review of Casio FX 85 ES by slik321

Advantages: scientific, size, weight, design
Disadvantages: perhaps it should be all black in colour

...like the colour of the casio calculator, the front section is black and the back is grey. There are some lovely curves and the calculator is nice and thin (about 1cm) and is extremely light-weight for it's size. Efficiency - I purchased this calculator a year ago when i was sittting my GCSE's and found it to be of great use. I am not a person who is too smart in maths (got a D at GCSE) so i could not use the calculator to it's full potential. However, ...
...amazed at the functions the casio calculator could perform. Cost - At the time i payed around £12 from Argos which i thought was a reasonably good price for one of the top brands of calculator and a scientific one to boot. Personal value - I myself do not use a calculator much nowadays as i thankfully do not do maths at college but to someone who would use this more than once a week for fractions and other complicated mathamatical equations then ... Casio MS-8V Calculator
Review of Casio MS 8 TV by cornishman30

Advantages: Robust design, easy to use
Disadvantages: None

...divide and multiply. The Casio MS-8V does the job rather well, and that's good enough for me. I don't want to belittle my job as it can get a bit stressful at times, so the ease of use of the calculator makes MY job easier. The Design ---------------- The casing is of a robust design, black in colour and generally gives a sturdy strong appearance; the look of a calculator gives the impression that it can take some stick. It hasn't got wings attached ...
...don't add up. The buttons are nice and large. I have fairly large fingers, so guys like me appreciate just pressing one button at a time; I think it adds to the ease of use as well. Power -------- This particular calculator is solar powered. In case you needed to know the battery inside the case is a solar cell battery 1.5 volt. Should you ever need to replace it (I doubt it) the battery number is LR54X1. Features ------------ The display has ... Read review

Simple to use scientific calculator
Review of Canon F715S by NegativeG

Advantages: Easy to use, can edit lines, remembers history, suitable for GCSE
Disadvantages: None

This Canon calculator is fantastic. It is powered by batteries and solar panel and is simple to operate. There are many functions including a number of memories, they are labelled as A, B, C, D, M (Memory) and X and Y. The X and Y are probably really useful for GCSE and A-Levels since everything seems to revolve around X and Y in those questions! You can edit lines and go back to see what previous calculations you have done - useful for double ...
...certainly a good calculator for GCSE use (it seems to do everything I covered in mine including sin, cos, tan as well as cubes and square roots, pi and fractions). For A-Level it doesn't have some of the more useful functions, there are no imaginary numbers, for example. But the bulk is here and I would strongly recommend it. Calculations are put in as you would write them and the screen is clear and simple. The contrast can be adjusted. It is ... Read review
