IT ALL ADDS UP
Advantages: It does sums Disadvantages: No clock, no scientific bits, bit ugly
...of this product is the Sharp Elsimate EL-334. It can take ten digits and mine is a grey-beige colour with the following design:
Tax buttons are dark yellow
The digit buttons are a dark mauve
The memory buttons are light blue
The On/off (C.CE) is pink
This mixture of colours is, frankly, vulgar. However, the layout of the calculator is fine and features a natty little "back arrow" button that allows to correct a figure on the display before you ... ...for some reason, you're adding up 100 and 100 and you accidentally type in 101 instead, you can press the back arrow button and 101 will be replaced with 10, leaving you free to enter the correct "0".
Another good feature is the "00" button. If you're typing in high round numbers like 10,000 you can press this twice instead of "0" four times. This would, I assume, be great for accountants and those who use high, round figures on a daily basis.

The Perfect A-Level Calculator
Advantages: Text book option equates to easy calculations; Great for A-Level Mathematics and Physics Disadvantages: Compared to more expensive calculators it has less features... understandably..
As a mathematics and physics A-Level student, my calculator is a very important day to day tool. The Fx-85ES is everything you'd need at this level, plus much more! One particularly excellent feature is textbook mode, which allows you to put equations in exactly how you'd see them in your text book and inputting is so exceptionally easy that i've found that any other calculator does not feel as solid. The exponential button uses x10 rather than E, ... ...which can confuse you rather easily. I'm sure there are many other useful features for the more hardcore mathematician, but I have and will continue to recommend this to my friends and students alike; If you want an effective, clear and useful calculator which do surds, trig ratios and logs for you, pick this calculator ...

Casio fx-83EX is a great school calculator!
Advantages: See Review Disadvantages: See Review
...you cannot do on the Casio fx-83EX. But even now, at university, i still keep this calculator as it is so easy to use and has useful functions that you sometimes don't even get on the very expensive calculators! I would definitely recommend this product! Another last note is to say that to be honest, you don't even need to bother with the instruction manual as it is so simple to use and it is a commonly used calculator in schools so the teachers ...

calculating success!
Advantages: Thoroughly useful if you are studying maths! Disadvantages: It is a little pricey.
The Casio fx-9750GII is one of the newest releases in the graphical calculator range from casio, as you would expect from such a large brand its almost faultless!
The calculator comes standard with a 3 year warrantee which is helpful considering the price! The calculator comes with 64kb RAM and also has a USB port so you can connect it to your computer.
If you havent used a Graphical calculator before and you work with more complex maths regularly ... ...a top of the range model. As with most standard scientific calculators it can convert from fractions to decimals, calculate simple and complex multiplications divisions etc.. but as this is graphical it can do just that little bit more, it also has a very clear icon menu.
The Icon menu clearly shows each available main function of this calculator, it currently has 14 icons on the menu screen including:
-Graph and Table
-Conics Graph
-Equations

Albert 3 calculator by texet.
Advantages: scientific, easy to use, long life, easy to see display and buttons. Disadvantages: whole back needs to come off when replacing battery, no auto turn off.
the albert 3 is a 2 lined display calculator that is approved for GCSE/ a-level exams etc. the calculator runs simply off a lithium ion 3v battery (this calculator has not got a solar strip), if the battery was ever to run out of power you will be able to pick up some cheap ones from a store such as WHsmiths for around £1.00-2.00. the design of the calculator is perfect, it has a rubber coating that sits around the sides of the calculator so you ... ...a solid plastic that seems to last some time, i have had the calculator around 1 and a half years and still it has not broke, the writing on the keys has not faded at all either. the calculator comes with a cover that is pushed onto it instead of sliding it like most calculators, with the case it does not come loose as the rubber around the outside holds it in place firmly. it also features some artwork on the back to make it look more appealing. ...
