Advantages: Text book option equates to easy calculations; Great for A-Level Mathematics and Physics Disadvantages: Compared to more expensive calculators it has less features... understandably..
As a mathematics and physics A-Level student, my calculator is a very important day to day tool. The Fx-85ES is everything you'd need at this level, plus much more! One particularly excellent feature is textbook mode, which allows you to put equations in exactly how you'd see them in your text book and inputting is so exceptionally easy that i've found that any other calculator does not feel as solid. The exponential button uses x10 rather than E, ... ...which can confuse you rather easily. I'm sure there are many other useful features for the more hardcore mathematician, but I have and will continue to recommend this to my friends and students alike; If you want an effective, clear and useful calculator which do surds, trig ratios and logs for you, pick this calculator ...

Review of Casio FX 85 ES
...you cannot do on the Casio fx-83EX. But even now, at university, i still keep this calculator as it is so easy to use and has useful functions that you sometimes don't even get on the very expensive calculators! I would definitely recommend this product! Another last note is to say that to be honest, you don't even need to bother with the instruction manual as it is so simple to use and it is a commonly used calculator in schools so the teachers ...

Review of Casio FX 83 ES
Advantages: Integration and Differentiaiton features Disadvantages: None that stand out
...real step up from the casio fx-83 MS which is the calculator I had previously. It has all the features of the typical scientific calculator and all the keys are in the same place as the fx-83 and the other casios. However, to make this calculator stand out from the rest is the fact that it can solve quadratic equations adn also differentiate and integrate. If you have ever had problems integrating etc. or you want to check you answers to integration/differentiation ... ...for you. At first, it isquite difficult to find the solutions quickly, although once you know how to use the functions, you'll be able to differentiate and integrate in seconds. The solar-powered feature alongside the normal battery means that it is pretty impossible for this calculator to run out of battery. A definite purchase for anyone doing AS/A - level maths. ...
Advantages: Many many functions! Perfect for GCSE andmaybe alevel candidates! Disadvantages: Could be too complicated
Mine cost me £9.99! Similar to the competition! However, i knew that this was the calculator that i needed!
It provides all the necessary functions to succeed at G.C.S.E. level maths, chemistry, physics and biology! I even used it during my graphics exam! the caulator has many different modes and sometimes this is a down fall, because depending wat mode it is on you could get two different answers to the same question such as in trigonometry! Which ... ...Hence i would stress it is very important to read the instructions before using this model in any external examinations! However it is also an advantage if you know how to use it because there is an endless possibility of calculations that could be performed.!
So, it performs well and suits its purpose! On th other hand it is a great size - not too big but not too small either so you press the wrong buttons by mistake! Very reliable!
It comes with ...

The Casio fx-9750GII is one of the newest releases in the graphical calculator range from casio, as you would expect from such a large brand its almost faultless!

If you havent used a Graphical calculator before and you work with more complex maths regularly ... ...a top of the range model. As with most standard scientific calculators it can convert from fractions to decimals, calculate simple and complex multiplications divisions etc.. but as this is graphical it can do just that little bit more, it also has a very clear icon menu.
The Icon menu clearly shows each available main function of this calculator, it currently has 14 icons on the menu screen including:
