In a nutshell: After the last game became the best selling launch title for the Xbox

360, Activision aren’t wasting any time with the follow-up as you do you bit to help out with the Normandy breakout and the liberation of France. The lowdown: Despite the new digit in the title this isn’t so much a sequel to Call of Duty 2 on the 360 and PC as it is Call of Duty: Big Red One on the PS2, Xbox and GameCube. It’s by the same developer (Treyarch), there’s no PC version and it doesn’t feature three distinct armies, but instead a recreation of the Normandy breakout. That’s not to suggest it’s short on new ideas though with much larger levels than ever before and far more vehicles to control (particularly in the Battlefield like multiplayer mode). There’s also a new Resident Evil 4 style quick time event system for hand-to-hand combat where you have to hit specific buttons to sock it to the Nazi hordes. Most exciting moment: It may seem a bit shallow to go on about the game’s explosions but really, there’s never been anything as realistic as the fireworks in this game. The way the smoke moves is particularly amazing, even drifting in the wind or dispersing after a second nearby explosion. Since you ask: Although Activision has confirmed nothing yet they have hinted that original Call of Duty developers Infinity Ward are working on their own sequel, primarily for the PC. When it will come out and whether it will be translated to the next generation consoles is currently unknown. The bottom line: The best WII first person shooter looks to be getting even better. Through the eyes of four Allied soldiers, Call of Duty 3 brings players closer than ever to the fury of combat as they fight through the Normandy Breakout, the harrowing offensive that liberated Paris and changed the fate of the world.
... ...an improvement from the other Call of duty games I had played before. The developers have made more of an effort in the storyline. In between the missions it shows a cinematic footage of what is happening around you and what the missions expects of you, this makes it seem more real somehow.
Playable armies include American, Polish, Canadian and British.
The setting has changed; Call of Duty 3 takes place during the Normandy landing. The game starts ...

Call of Duty 3, probably the best call of duty to date, it is truly astonishing. The graphics are brilliant and are even better if displayed on a HD tv. You play as different people in different scenarios, all fighting for the same cause to liberate France. You play as Britain, America, Canada and Poland in many different epic scenarios that determine the fate of the Nazis. The enjoyment i had playing this game was undescribable, it is for me one ... ...5 hours straight almost everyday! Call of Duty makes you feel like you are the person in the game and when you play the game you feel everything that the character feels and the result is stunning. As you get into intense fights you can see the expression on the enemys face as you sink a barrage of bullets into their skull. In my opinion this game is the best WWII game ever made. This game at first is quite complex and difficult however after a while ...

Advantages: Addictive fun fast paced and violent Disadvantages: Addictive and even more addictive
When i first bought call of duty 3 i was stunned, I had Heard about the series but i didn't know how great my experience would be when i were to play it, Call of duty is a revolutionary first person shooter, Bringing you from your seats right into the battle field, It shows you the pain and suffering of the men whom the game is based upon, and even being a bit of a tear jerker when you see one of your fallen comrades die.
The story line of the game ... ...the Germans have captured
Call of duty is different from other FPS ( First person shooters ) because you cant spray and pray ( shoot blindly) You have to use the games unique aiming system where you see the guns target through the sight of the gun.
Call of duty is also a fast paced FPS because unlike most games when you get hurt, instead of getting a medical kit or waiting for a medic to pact you up You recover health over time This makes the game ...
