World War 2 had ended in 1945, but the war between the Allied Forces and the Fascist has never ended on the console battle field. Call of Duty 3 is the next step after the success of Call of Duty 2: Big Red one.
WIth close and hash campaign, perfect sound system and detailed online mode, this game is even far better than the second one and fit the award best FPS game of the year.

Call of Duty 3 takes place in 1944, the time when The allied landed in Normandy. After succeeded to drop army on the French coast, The allied concentrated on driving the German away and liberated Paris completely from the Fascist's hands.

Like last two version, you play several different soldiers and take part in some missions, fight for America, England, Canada adn Poland. Each campaign in different country has its own story and that story related to the person you play included an airman who dislikes French, an arbitrary sergeant and a comunicator who used to be called a coward.

Fighting for 4 different countries brings a big impression to the players not only by an attractive way of telling story but also by the feeling of taking part in this World War, and not only the American had to fight for their country.

The game start with a simple mission which teach you the basic things: how to shot, throw grenade as well as moving around.Controling is not so hard although it included various activity. players can shot faster with R1, however, it doesn't bring accuracy. if you want higher accuracy, you have to press L1 also, to aim the enemy .Players can also engage in hand-in hand combat when running out of ammo or just simply don't have enough time to make an aim-shoot.Press slightly Left analog will help you to use the binoculars. This is not so good cause when you touch it unintendedly, the character will immediately lie on the ground^^.
You can throw smoke-grenade in order to make a layer, blind enemy for a while or use land mine , kill all the Wehrmacht(Wehrmacht is the German force during 1935-1945, now they call Bundeswehr).Call of Duty 3 also allow you to collect the grenades that have just been thrown from the enemy and throw it back(muahaha^^!).However, to avoid your grenades being thrown back, you can set the time to explosion shorter.Although it's very helpful, it's not easy to do though, even you can kill yourself if not concentrate.

The game doesn't display HP(health point) bar so you have to always look at the sceen to know whenever you have been shot. Everytime you are shot, the screen frame will turn to dark-red...When you know you're.... near dead, you have to do 2 things as soon as possible: use all your ammo and find somewhere to rest, in order to regenerate.
After the' training course', you hopped on a truck and were brought to the battlefield. Jumped out of the truck when it was about to explode. You will then entered a grave yard and suddenly realised that you're now on battle field with grenade and bomb 'flying around'. All your allies have to find somewhere to hide so you'd better find one, can be a small wall, a grave or even a cow's dead-body.You can even find yourself harder to breath!!

Call of Duty 3 is not purely a FPS game where you only running around and shot, it's full of strategy. You will have an ally to control. The game is really nice but it's kinda short, you can finish it in just around 8 to 10 hours. The game has various kind of missions.Sometimes you just need to go from A to B, protect a place, rescure the hostage and set land-mine.Sometimes you will have to use binocular to point out the aim for shooters.Easiest is when you sit on the Jeep and kill enemy by a machine gun^^. A misson has many way too complete it.

Call of Duty 2 used to have the interesting Multiplayer mode , and therefore have many fans. Call of Duty 3 is created to achieve the same success. On old consoles, the game can't help 24 played at the same time like on Xbox 360, but both two version on PS2 and Xbox allow 16 gamers to played together, 8 map and 6 mode have been created..

If you had fed up with being a soldier and running around, you can try other position, from a nurse to the armo supplier...

Call of Duty 3's graphic is very good, with the scene of a farm near Normandy coast or just a destroyed town. It's large enough for you to to run around with millions of bushes or trees to hide.Especially, smoke-grenade explosion has been made to look very real and lively, making big impression.

Sound and music in Call of Duty 3 is just perfect, even you only use the loudspeaker in TV. Sound of explosion and flying bullet from everywhere lift you up when going to battlefield. Soundtracks are made by Slovakia's orchestra, make you feel pity that there is nowhere in game you can only listening to music...without playing!!

Thanks for reading.
