This game is by far the most popular call of duty game released, and it is not hard to see why, there are many many positive points to this game.
Story
The story for this can take part in many locations throughout the game, Prypiat, Russia and the middle east, You are hunting down the terrorists as mainly a young SAS member named Soap MacTavish, but also as Sergeant Paul Jackson of the USMC. You Will be in search of a terrorist named al-asad who publicly performs an assassination, later evidence shows that imran zakhaev, as you play through the story you encounter many great levels shooting terrorists and meeting with the "good" russians as you are looking for nikolai your informant, and as the game ends you shoot down zakhaev as Captain Price lay dieing, you are the last surviving soldier ready to lead an elite army force in Modern Warfare 2
Sound & Graphics
The sound of the guns on this game seem to get more and more realistic, and also your player online talks when reloading or planting claymores, throwing frags etc, car explosions RPG's Grenade Launchers. Very Realistic Sounds. The Call of Duty Franchise has always been good for graphics, RPG Smoke Trails, Giant Explosions, Muzzle flash, Weather Effects, Wall Marks (bullet Holes and scars) You Can play through a level seeing dead bodies and c4 packs flashing around.
Difficulty
Well the game is pretty simple on recruit and the one above i cant remember, but if you play on hardened or veteran expect a great challenge ahead of you. It is pretty much a 3 bullet kill on hardened and 2 on veteran. The A.I is very difficult to get past, and this can make the game longer and a much more challenging game :)
Achievements
Well the only downside is that there is no multiplayer achievements, the achievements are pretty straight forward in what to do but very hard to actually go ahead and complete, as 500+ gamerscore requires you to complete the game on veteran difficulty.
MULTIPLAYER
This is where Call Of Duty 4 really performs! The online Multiplayer makes Call Of Duty 4 the best available online multiplayer game. The Online maps have been well thought out and planned. In game features include the ability to call in air strikes and helicopters if you perform well in killing the opposing team. 3 Kills without dying will allow you to use a UAV, 5 Kills will allow you to call in an air stike and 7 you can call in a helicopter. This can be done from good shooting spots, but every spot has a weakness to mind out for those enemy snipers and sneaky knives in the back.
The online multiplayer also features a Leveling and ranking system. Each Kill you get will give you experience points towards your next level and rank. Completing online challenges will also give you experience. The Challenges are a fun part of the game but unless you want to try i would suggest you just ignore the challenges, ones you should go for are weapon kills for extra attachments and camoflages.Each level or Rank you advance will unlock weapons, abilities and much more. So the higher the Rank the better chance you stand in combat, After Reaching Level 55 you can go to the barracks and enter prestige, although this can make you look more experienced it comes with a great sacrifice, all your completed challenges weapons, camo, attachments and your current 55 rank status disappear you are a rank 1 "noob" again :D
I Would Definetly recommend this game to everyone out there, shooter fan or not :) 5 Star, Naaa This is like a 10 Star 2 thumbs up game :)
